Awkward. It was so awkward and the air was so thick that Lauren couldn't breathe properly. That's not how her and Camila were. They were never awkward. But when her girlfriend walked in the room something in the atmosphere changed and then it turned into unbearable tension.

"So.." Lauren began. Camila looked at her and her eyes softened.

"How do you feel?"

"Like I have two fractured ribs."

"Lauren," Camila warned. Lauren just laughed softly before patting her bed, letting Camila know she could have a seat.

"Look, Camz. I'm really sorry that I've been avoiding you these past few days. I'm not mad at you or anything, I'm just a selfish asshole-"

"Lo,"

"No, let me finish please?" The green eyed girl waited for her girlfriend to nod before she continued. "Every time I tried calling you I'd think about stupid fucking Austin and I felt so nauseous I couldn't handle it. I know that nothing was your fault but a part of me thought that maybe if I avoided you, it would be okay. Maybe I'd stop being in pain and I'd stop feeling nauseous. I know now that I was so totally wrong because just hearing your voice makes me feel like I can be immortal. So, I want to say that I'm really sorry. And that I missed you."

Camila's eyes were moist while she looked at Lauren with nothing but affection and love.

"I missed you too." She made a move to hug the older girl but paused when she remembered Lauren's injuries.

"You can hug me," Lauren assured.

Camila complied, softly, before placing the lightest kiss on a pale forehead.

"I love you."

"I love you too."

"No more breaks okay? It's only been four days and I felt like I was never gonna stop crying," Camila chuckled at what she meant to be a lighthearted joke, but she saw the guilt in Lauren's eyes. "I was joking, honey."

"I know. But I'm sorry."

"You were forgiven before I even came over here."

I'm so disappointed that Lauren didn't post smt for Lucy's birthday. also highkey feel weird that I ship Laucy so hard but I'm writing Camren fics but oh well ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I like writing this cause it's funny most of the time LOL
