The party was in full swing. The house was packed. Camila felt... fulfilled. She was grinning almost manically as she danced against Lauren, carefree and light as a feather. She didn't really care that it was an effect of the alcohol.

Lauren, on the other hand, was surprised at how bold her girlfriend became with a little bit of vodka in her system. It was uplifting to see the normally timid girl moving so uninhibitedly, unrestrained. She just was. It was like there, dancing among a sea of sweaty high school students, was the best place either of them could be.

They lost their friends at some point in the night. Lauren really thought they should start looking for them. She told her mom they'd be back before midnight and she was quite sure it was nearing eleven thirty.

"Camz," she breathed into the smaller girls ear. Camila arched back into her, causing Lauren to shudder. "We should go find the girls."

Camila ground back into her girlfriend and Lauren choked on her words because who the hell was the girl dancing with her. It definitely didn't seem like Camila.

"Five more minutes," Camila whispered, barely audibly above the pounding bass. But Lauren heard.

Five minutes turned into ten and then the green eyed girl had to pry herself awake from her girlfriend so she could escort them away for the dancing bodies. As soon as they stumbled into the kitchen, Lauren found who she was looking for.

Three very drunk best friends playing beer pong.

"Laur!" Normani squealed. "We were totally lookin' for ya."

"Sure," Lauren laughed as she guided Camila towards them. "Look, we gotta go."

"What?" Dinah gasped. "Nooo." A pout, a sigh, and a giggle.

"Yes, curfew's 12 and it's..." Lauren paused to check her phone. "11:38, chop chop."

A chorus of disapproval was sung behind her, but the girls followed without resistance. Lauren felt very much like a kindergarten teacher leading her class to the gymnasium for an assembly and the thought made her snort.

Camila scurried to catch up with her and intertwined their hands, gently rocking them back and forth.

"I had a lot of fun," she said quietly.

"Really?" Lauren was sure her face broke into a megawatt smile because she really just wanted to make sure her girlfriend had a good time.

"Mhm," Camila nodded. "a lot of fun dancing with you." It was low, sensual, and it made Lauren shiver. She didn't have much time to think though, because then she hopped into the drivers seat as the rest of the girls filed into the car.

"So," she grinned. "We going the the party tomorrow?"

The girls looked around before they let out a collective holler and said "Hell yeah!"

With that, Lauren backed out of her parking spot and cruised down the street and towards her house.

She was excited as hell.

short chapter, long wait. I'm sorry.

can I just say how disgusted I am with so many people in the fandom right now? Photo's of Lauren were leaked without her permission, outing her to virtually the entire world to see, and people are fighting about Laucy/Camren.

It's fucking pathetic.

I love Lauren. I genuinely care about her as a human above all and the fact that now she has to go through this surpasses any stupid fandom bickering. If her and Lucy are dating, I'll be happy for them, if not, I'll be happy for them.

It doesn't matter because at the end of the fucking day, Lauren Michelle Jauregui, an amazing human being, is going to have to go through something that no one should ever have to go through. Being outed is such a painful experience, but to have to go through that while the entire world is watching, I'm sure that's a whole other story.

And to whoever leaked those photos?

I hope you know this is someone's life and not a fucking opportunity for you to become more popular and climb the social media ladder.
