PrincessLolo💚: are you almost here??

BabySpice💕: yeah

BabySpice💕: tell me again why I had to rush out of my home at 9:30 at night and call Mani to pick me up so I could meet you in the middle of nowhere

PrincessLolo💚: first of all, it's not the middle of nowhere. It's literally a park

PrincessLolo💚: second, it's a surprise

BabySpice💕: yeah yeah whatever I'm coming

Lauren didn't bother replying, instead she locked her phone and slid it in her pocket. She gulped dramatically, wringing her hands out. Realistically, she knew she had nothing to worry about. Camila was the one to say she wanted something more out of their weird relationship. And she practically already said yes to going to prom.

But Lauren was more worried about the delivery. What if Camila thought it was lame? What if she didn't pay attention to the little details like Lauren did?

Lauren felt her chest compressing with hidden anxiety but then she saw a figure in the dark. It looked like nothing more than a stain in the dark, but then that stain moved closer until their features were discernible and Camila smiled at her.

"Hey." The girl said softly, and Lauren gulped.

"Hi."

"So.."

"So.."

"Are you going to tell me why you called me here?" Camila asked, an amused smile dancing on her lips. Lauren's eyes widened and she nodded.

"Yeah! Sorry." She pulled her phone out and squinted, checking the time.

9:51

"Okay so," Lauren started, wringing her hands again. "If you didn't already know, I have no date to prom." A pause. "And I was really hoping you'd go with me-"

"Of course I will, Lo-"

"No, wait. I'm not done. This sounds pretty lame now that I think about it. But we started talking exactly 13 weeks ago.." She gauged Camila's reaction, seeing a small smile form on the other girls face.

"That's right."

"At exactly this time."

"That's also right. I remember because I was about to go to sleep, back when I actually got sleep." Both girls laughed.

"Well, in those 13 weeks I've become closer to you than some people I've known my entire life." Lauren admitted. "Which is kind of scary, if I'm being honest." She brought a hand up to rub the back of her neck. "So, what I was going to say before is: would you want to go to prom with me," she gulped. "As my girlfriend?"

Camila's grin grew tenfold and she was practically glowing with happiness. "Holy shit, yes." She nodded quickly.

"Wait, really?" Lauren asked, almost slapping her.

"Of course, dork."

She pouted. "But that's you."

"I guess I'm rubbing off on you." Camila smirked.

"Dork."

"True." And then Camila wrapped her arms around Lauren, pulling her against her body and nuzzling her neck.

"I'm sorry there wasn't some big sign in front of the school for a grand promposal."

"You know I don't need anything like that."

"So I'm going to assume you don't want the pizza I got Ally to order to your house?"

"Shut the hell up, Jauregui. I'd never pass on pizza." Camila pulled back to flare up at her.

"I know." Lauren laughed, kissing Camila's forehead and hugging her tight once more. "Holy shit."

"What?"

"You're my girlfriend."

Camila burst into laughter against Lauren's neck, clutching her tighter.

"Dork."

"True."

Geez these losers. 38 chapters later, and they're finally dating. Now that that's out of the way, prepare for extreme fluffiness.

Also I can't figure out a name for my new fic (or a cover) and that's literally the only reason it isn't posted yet smh
