Babygirl💕: Lo

Babygirl💕: I can see you in your car

Babygirl💕: you know you don't have to wait until exactly 8 right?

Lauren groaned to herself. Her hands were trembling with nerves and she was just willing herself not to sweat. She was nervous, to say the least.

Her mind was racing a mile and minute and none of her thoughts ended up good. She just wanted the night to be perfect, because Camila deserved nothing short of perfection.

With a final sigh, she got out of her car walked toward Camila's front door. On the way, she straightened out her dress and attempted to fix her hair. As she ascended the concrete steps, her hands grew clammy. She was already paranoid about falling and tripping in her heels, but she just rolled her eyes at herself. She'd worn heels on multiple occasions before.

She knocked on the door three times, heart beating faster with each knock. The door swung open and Lauren was confused when she didn't see anything, but then she looked down and saw Sofi looking up at her with the widest grin she'd ever seen.

"Woah." The small girl breathed out.

"What?" Lauren asked with a nervous laugh.

"You look like a princess!" Sofi cheered loudly, and Lauren let out a sigh of relief.

"Thank you, sof. But do princesses wear black?" She chuckled, referring to her dress.

"Sometimes." Sofi shrugged. "I can't wait until you see Kaki. I helped her get ready." She said proudly and Lauren raised her brows.

"Did you now?" All nerves were forgotten as her conversation with the young girl progressed. "Well I-" but then she suddenly forgot how to speak. Actually, she forgot how to breathe.

Because there was Camila. She was slowly walking down the steps with a look of sheer determination on her face, likely willing herself not to fall. Lauren finally sucked in a breath as she looked at her girlfriend.

Camila was wearing a white dress, ironically enough, that had lace covering her collarbones and top of her chest. It flowed down to her mid-thigh. With her hair curled, Lauren thought she resembled an angel. And then Camila saw her, and her eyes widened.

"Holy shit." Camila said, stopping dead in her tracks.

"Camila! That's a bad word." Sofi chastised.

"Sorry." The eldest sister mumbled distractedly. She let her eyes take in Lauren's black dress that flowed down her body perfectly, and her makeup that made her eyes look even brighter somehow. "You look.. Wow." She said dumbly. She wished more than ever before that Lauren had showed her the dress beforehand, because she might've been a little bit more prepared for what was to come. Instead of sounding like an idiot. Somehow, though, she knew she'd react the same either way.

"Don't you two look beautiful." Camila's mom beamed as she walked into the living room. Camila turned to her and groaned when she saw the camera dangling from her neck.

"Mama, no photos." She pleaded.

"Just a few." Sinu promised and she gestured for the two of them to stand next to each other. Lauren just beamed at her girlfriend and wrapped and arm around her waist. "Clara is going to want to see these too."

"You look beautiful." Lauren mumbled and she pressed a kiss to the crown of Camila's head, which led the shorter girl to giggle and blush madly.
