Chapter 19. A Walk

                      No One POV
     The next day, you woke up to see Buck next to you.
     You smiled and sat up. You then stretched.
     You leaned your back against the tree and sat there.
     A few minutes later, Buck woke up.
     "Mornin'." You heard him say.
     You turned your head to look at him.
     "Morning. How'd you sleep?" You asked.
     "Pretty well actually." Buck said and sat up.
     "How about you?" He asked.
     "Excellent." You answered. Buck nodded.
     "Wanna go on a little stroll in the forest with me? You don't have to go if you don't want to." Buck said.
     "Sure! I'll go. Just let me tell Ellie first so the herd won't be so worried about us." You said then ran up to Ellie.
     "Hey Ellie!" You said.
     "Oh hey (Name)! What's up?" She asked, turning to you.
     "Not much. Listen. Buck and I are going to go for a stroll in the woods for a bit." You said to her.
     "Ok!" Ellie said.
     You gave her a thumbs up and went back to where Buck was.
     "Ok! We're good to go." You said, grabbing your knife out of the tree and putting your belt on.
     "Ok good! Let's move along then shall we?" He said then started to walk off.
    You walked beside him.

    You guys then eventually found some trees with vines. An idea suddenly popped into your head.
    "Race you to the river." You said and pointed to the river just down the end of the path.
    "You're on!" Buck said then went to the right side of the forest. You went on the left side.
    You grabbed onto a loose vine and held it.
     "Ready"
     "Set"
     "Go!" You said and started swinging.
     "Hey no fair! You got a head start ya cheater!" Buck said while swinging.
     You just laughed and continued swinging.

     You guys eventually made it to the end of the path.
     You were the first to jump in the water.
     You then went up to the surface for air.
     "I win!" You said, putting your kife up in the air in victory.
     "That's because you cheated." Buck said. Standing by the river.
     "I was still first." You said.
     You then swam back to land and wrang yourself off. Good thing you were a Weasel.
     "That was fun." You said.
     "Yeah. But you still cheated." Buck said.
     "I just can't have fun when I'm around you can't I?" You asked.
     "Nope. Unless I win then yeah." Buck said.
     "Does someone not like losing to a female of his own species?" You taunted. Buck just rolled his eye. You laughed.
     "We should start heading back." You said.
     "Yeah." Buck said.

     You guys then walked back to where the rest of the crew were.
