Chapter 25. Meeting

                     Sphinx's POV
     The next day, I held a meeting.
     "Ok. Everyone here?" I asked.
     I just got out a list that I wrote down on a leaf.
     "Possums?" I asked, looking around.
     "Loud and clear." Crash said and high fived his brother.
     "Diego?" I asked.
     "Yup." He said. I nodded.
     "Manny, Ellie and Peaches?" I asked
     "Yup. We're here!" Ellie said and smiled.
     I smiled back and looked at my list.
     "And last but not least. Sid?" I asked.
     "I'm here!" Sid said.
     "And of course I'm here." I said.
     "So what was so important that you had to hold a meeting?" Manny asked.
     "Oh trust me. It's important." I said.
     "Well make it quick, Weasel. We don't have all day." Manny said.
     "Manny. Just hear what she has to say." Ellie said.
     I then cleared my throat.
     "Welcome, Mammoths, Sabers, Slothes and Possums to this meeting. And I'm your presenter, Sphinx. Now we're here to discuss important matters." I said.

     "I think we already got that." Manny said.
     "How important?" Crash asked.
     "Like. VERY. Important." I said.
     "So what are we here to talk about Sphinx?" Peaches asked.
     "We're here to talk about setting (Name) and Buck up." Sphinx said.
     "And how exactly are we going to do that?" Sid asked.
     "It won't be easy. But it will be a success!" I said.
     "So how will we get them together?" Crash asked.
     "Like I said. It won't be easy. But my plan will be for 1 of us to ask Buck if he likes (Name) back. I already know that (Name) likes Buck so that makes it slightly easier." I said.
     "Crash and I can do it." Eddie said.
     I nodded.
     "Only one thing though." I said.
     The twins looked at me.
     "Don't reveal anything about this plan. And don't make it too obvious either." I said.
     "Well. That's technically 2 things but oh well." I said and shrugged.
     "So what if Buck does like (Name)?" Ellie asked.
     "Then what happens?" She added.
     "Then we throw them a suprise date." I said.
     "But what if he doesn't?" Diego asked.
     "Then we'll just leave them alone." I said.
     They all nodded.
     "So when does the plan start?" Eddie asked.
     "Tomorrow." I said.
     "You all are dismissed." I said.

     I seriously hope this will work.
