We were snapped back to reality with those three loud knocks.

Pareho kaming tumayo para pagbuksan yung kumakatok.

"No, stay here. Ako na. Hehe."

She shrugged her shoulders and went straight to bed na nakayuko.

I opened the door and bumungad si Yaya na hinihingal sa sobrang dami ng dala.

"Ma'am Bea, sabi po ng Mommy niyo ihatid ko raw ito sa inyo."

She handed me over a big tray with snacks. Juice, Chips and dips, Chocolates, Candies.

"Thank you, Ya." I faked a smile.

Those three knocks perfectly ruined that perfect moment.

"Jho, snacks." Nilapag ko sa kama yung tray.

"Busog pa ako. Dami natin kinain kanina for breakfast."

Siya naman ngayon yung may hawak ng remote at nakahiga na siya.

"Okay, I'll just leave this here. Maliligo muna ako."

"Thank you." She smiled at me and umiwas din ng tingin.

Nilipat ko sa bedside table yung tray at pumasok na ng bathroom.

Pagkapasok ni Bea ng bathroom, binaon ko yung mukha ko sa unan at napasigaw.

"AAHHH!!! YAYA NAMAN EH!!!"

Sobrang wrong timing ni Yaya. Nandun na kami eh. Makaka-score na sana ako kay Bea. Hahaha! Puera biro, alam kong meron na talaga kaming nararamdaman para sa isa't-isa. Ayoko lang pangunahan.

Or baka I'm just getting the wrong signals? Nakakatakot umasa.

Habang naliligo si Bea, I had the luxury of time to observe her room, mahilig pala siya sa Lego. May mga naka display na structure na gawa sa Lego. May naka display din na mga photos niya, collection of books, and trophies. Wow. Achiever.

I saw a notepad na nakalapag sa table niya. I sat down and wrote her a letter.

"Ba't nakasimangot ka?" Tanong ni Jho when I stepped out of the bathroom and dried my hair with the towel.

"Wala."

Nakita ko na naman kasi yung mga images na di ko ma explain sa sobrang dilim at napapa-isip na naman ako.

Nakatayo ako sa harap ng salamin habang naka-upo naman siya sa kama.

I watched her through the mirror's reflection and looks like natutuwa siya sa pinapanood niya.

"Ano pinapanood mo ba't tuwang-tuwa ka?"

"Friends."

My heart skipped. I love that show.

"I love that show!"

"I love it, too!"

Napatigil ako sa pagsuklay ng buhok ko.

"Did you just say you love me?"
