Liz ran towards me and hugged me. Leaving me still and shocked.

"I was solid worried about you! Why aren't you answering your phone?!"

I immediately let go of her hug and went to Jho's side.

"Uhh... why are you here again?"

"She went here in the hopes na andito ka sa bahay. They were worried about you kasi nga di ka na raw sumasagot since last night." Mom also looked worried.

Jho and I both looked puzzled kasi we both know na hindi nakapatay yung phone ko all night and the signal at the hotel was okay.

"I haven't received any calls from you, though."

"Really? I was calling you all night. I was desperate so I decided na puntahan nalang si Tito and Tita."

Liar.

"I swear, wala kaming natanggap na tawag." Nagtinginan kami ni Jho and she nodded in response.

"So magkasama lang pala kayo buong gabi?"

Liz's voice sounded like she's accusing me of something bad.

"Yes." I grabbed Jho's waist and pulled her closer to me.

What's wrong with this girl?

Liz's eyes darted on how I was holding Jho's waist.

Jho seemed uncomfy knowing that all eyes were on us - including my family.

I took a deep breath.

"Mom, Dad, Kuya... Liz, we're here because we want to tell you something."

I smiled at Jho and sabay namin silang tiningnan lahat.

"Kami na po."  Jho said as we clasped our hands and I semi-raised them.

"Yeyyy!" I wiggled our hands and we both laughed.

Jho side-hugged me and giggled.

"I knew it!!! I knew you'll eventually end up together!!! May pa friends-friends pa kayong sinabi! Hahaha! Congrats, sis!" Kuya got off the sofa and hugged us both.

"Welcome to the family, Jho! So... alam mo na ha. Hahaha!"

"G kita, bro! Hahaha!"

Jho and Kuya high-fived. I know what they're up to. I rolled my eyes at Kuya but hugged him also.

"I'm so happy! Finally! Welcome to the family, sweetheart!" Mommy looked at us both and held our faces. She's teary-eyed so I kissed her forehead.

"Mom, why are you cryiiiing?! You're supposed to be happy for me! Hahaha!"

I hugged her and it got me teary-eyed also. I didn't know announcing something like this would eventually make me emotional.

"May bago na tayong bunso! I'm sorry, Beatriz but I think you won't be having the solo attention na sa bahay! Hahaha!"
