...Then I woke up.

My phone rang.

I scrambled for my phone through the sheets and realized there's no one beside me.

I blinked my eyes. Is this reality? I pinched my arm and it hurts.

I covered my face and let out a big sigh. Goodness, gracious. Thank you, Lord!!!

It was all just a dream.

"Hello?"

"Open the door."

I looked at my phone to see who's calling pero dahil bagong gising, hindi ko nakita ng mabuti.

"Hello?... Beatriz?..."

"Hello?"

"Can you please open the door?"

I checked again who's calling and within a hearbeat, I ran outside and immediately stopped my track when I saw who's standing in front of me.

"Good morning, my love! Breakfast?"

I was stunned.

There she is. Waving at me. Wearing an apron, her hair in a high bun, and the smile that can send my soul to the heavens.

"Huy! Anong nangyayari sa'yo? Can I at least get a hug?"

She opened her arms.

I slowly walked towards her kasi I still can't believe she's here.

Siguro di niya na natiis and she ran towards me and hugged me really tight and kissed both my cheeks.

"I'm sorry, love for giving you a hard time. I missed you. Sobra."

"You're not galit?" I asked her. Still hugging my baby. Her head is against my chest.

This is not a dream. I repeat, this is not a dream.

She faced me.

She looked and pointed at some stuff behind me.

"I'm all yours."

"Woah. For real???" I shouted in shock.

"You're staying here???" I pulled her closer.

She nodded and smiled at me.

"Talaga ha? Walang bawian? Dito ka na talaga uuwi everyday?"

"Hahaha! Wala nang bawian! Hello?! Andito na nga halos lahat ng gamit ko diba? Kakapagod kaya maglipat-bahay! Hahaha!"

"Wait. That got me thinking. How did this all happen? Kelan ka dumating?"

"Can we talk about it over breakfast?"

She kissed me quick and hinila papuntang kitchen.

I'm still in awe.

"Here. Eat this. And drink this also."

She prepared everything for me.

"Can you pinch me?"
