MONDAY.

First day back to work after one whole week of doing nothing. One whole week of unexpected and unforgettable events.

Late akong nakauwi kagabi from Jho's place kasi after she received that call, she looks utterly worried and sad. Can't leave her like that. Hinintay ko muna na maging okay siya. Bumalik kami sa condo niya. We ordered pizza, watched a movie and talked the night away para she'll be at ease.

I sighed and sat back on my office chair. I can't help but smile when I remember the weekend that has passed.

But I missed my office too. Parang antagal kong di pumasok.

*knock knock*

"Come in!"

"How's your vacay?"

I looked up and it's Jia. My work-bestie.

"Hi, Jiaaa!" I stood up and embraced her.

"Wow. You look happy!"

"Because I actually am." Inirapan ko siya while smiling.

"Hmmm? Sino yan?"

Ever since I entered Garcia-Morente Investment Firm, si Jia na yung umalalay sakin since siya yung head ng HR Department namin. Eventually naging bestfriend ko siya sa trabaho. Mabait kasi siya and very patient with me.

"Hahaha! Ambilis ng balita ah."

"So tao nga yung dahilan?"

"Yes. I met someone last week."

"Yes, yes she is." I nodded in response. I can't hide my smiling face whenever I talk about her.
