'PX41'

Nasa rooftop si Saph ng isa sa mga building sa likod ng school. May mga nakalatag na papel sa gilid niya at may isang makapal na papel naman siyang binabasa.

'Tanaka History and Affiliates'

She has been learning about the Tanaka family and its connections— everything she needed to know. All this information was given to her by Zyd since these pieces of information aren't available elsewhere. Because of this, she confirmed how her family is so discrete.

Habang nagbabasa siya ay napapitlag siya noong malakas na bumukas ang pinto ng rooftop. Tumingin si Saph sa babae na pumasok at nakita niya si Xyra na nakatingala sa kanya. "What brings you here?" tanong niya rito at tinago ang mga binabasa niya.

"Bakit mo ginawa 'yon?" tanong nito. "Ang alin?" Saph replied.

"Sinadya mong hindi sagutan 'yong quiz," Ngumiti si Saph at nagkibit-balikat.

"It's my business, Xyra," mahinahong niyang sabi at tumingin sa kabilang rooftop ng katabing building. Mas mababa ito kesa sa building na kinaroroonan ni Saph kaya nakikita niya kung sino ang nasa rooftop na iyon pero hindi siya nakikita ng mga ito. Xyra got a call and asked to leave at naiwan si Saph na nakatingin sa dalawang tao na pumasok sa rooftop ng kabilang building.

"Sa lahat ng pwede mong ibigay sa kanya, why PX41?"

Tumaas ang kanang kilay ni Saph nang marinig ang boses ni Akio. She recognized the tall guy in front of her. It was Zero. PX41? Is that the punishment they're giving me? Isip ni Saph at tiningnan ang dalawa.

"If we give her a tiny punishment, she'll ask for more and go around asking for trouble. Why not just give her the hardest one and get it over with?" tanong ni Zero habang nakakrus sa harap ng dibdib niya ang mga braso niya.

"You're making it sound like you're so interested in her."

"That's because I am interested in her—in what she can do." Saph took a bitter note of Zero's last sentence.

"You're only interested in her because she's a Tanaka?" Akio asked.

"Nope. I never cared about that Tanaka shit. I'm just curious... very curious." There was a slight tone of adoration in Zero's voice that Saph didn't understand where it was coming from.

"I suggest you keep your curiosities to yourself. Sapphire is not a subject to satisfy your curiosity, Zero." Saph was in awe of Akio's firm words.

"I'll do that after the punishment," nakangiting sabi ni Zero at may inilahad na papel sa harap ni Akio. It looked like a contract given how Akio read through it and signed at the bottom. Saph laughed at the thought of a contract.

A punishment with a contract? What? Is that like a waiver that if I die during the punishment, they'll get away with it?

Natatawang isip ni Saph at tiningnan muli ang dalawa. Matapos pirmahan ni Akio ang kontrata ay umalis na ang dalawa at saktong bumalik si Xyra matapos tanggapin ang tawag sa cellphone niya. "Will you be okay later?" she asked Saph.

"Don't worry about me," aniya at niligpit na ang mga gamit niya tsaka bumaba. Sinamahan siya ni Xyra pabalik sa Emerald Manor bago ito umalis pero tinawag muna siya ni Saph dahilan para mapahinto siya. "Where are you staying anyway?" tanong nito kay Xyra.

"Oh, Sasha, Yuri, and I stay at the female dorm," sagot nito.

Saph knew the conditions of people at the dormitory at alam niyang may galit kina Xyra ang mga estudyante rito dahil nakapasok sila sa S Class dahil sa recommendation ng mga Tanaka.
