Chapter 15. You can't leave me

Percy's POV:

As I spun her round I could hear her thoughts. Maybe we can finally be together. Maybe. We will be together in time, when everyone is ready. I heard someone move downstairs and I tensed up a bit. I held her still and she wrapped her legs around my waist. She put her head on my shoulder.
"Don't worry we can be together in time. When everyone is ready." I said
"But I want us to be together now." She said into my shoulder
"I know you do and I do to but I don't want you hurt." I said
She turned to face me and I kissed her. She seemed to forget about everything instantly. Ryan stayed in his place and I stayed in control.

Hazel's POV:

When I pulled back I heard someone come up the stairs. I went out the window and listened.
"Kaden get out." He said
"No cuz, I'm staying unless you come with me." Kaden said
"I'll make you leave." He said
"Never." Kaden said as I heard a blade.
I climbed up again and saw Kaden with a blade in his hand pointing it at Percy. Chloe took over as we jumped in and lunged at Kaden. We grabbed the knife from Kaden and Chloe scratched his eyes. I grabbed Percy and we jumped out the window. While we were running I mindlinked Mom, mom I need ur help, Kaden is trying to kill Percy and I, we are heading towards the pack territory. Please don't tell Dad will meet you at the border. As we were running I looked at Percy, I shifted into a wolf and he did into his. When he seemed tired I felt it through the bond. I pushed through it and he seemed to have regained all his energy.

When we reached the border my mom was hiding. I could smell her scent. We crossed the border and shifted back and faced off Kaden. He was running towards us with the blade in his hand. When he was running he stopped when he saw us facing him.
"Good you've got some sense. I don't care if I kill you or not, I want to be the heir. I came to bring you to Henry but now I'm going to kill you and be the heir." He said approaching us with the knife.
My mom jumped out and saw Kaden.
"LEAVE HERE NOW." She screamed at him in her alpha voice
"No." He said smugly and ran at us with the knife at hand. He pushed me aside and raised the knife in the motion of pre-stabbing. He aimed at Percy's chest and before Ryan could take over I lunged in front of him. I felt my insides being pierced as I looked at Percy. I stabbed Kaden with the knife before falling to the ground. I felt Percy fumbling around trying to save me.
"I love you." I said looking at him
"You can't leave me, I love you too." He said
That was the last thing I heard before darkness consumed me.

Cocos POV:

Seeing my baby's mate fumbling around desperately trying to save my daughter showed me how much he cared. Come quick, it's urgent I'm at the easy border. I said to the healers in the mind link. I approached Percy and Hazel.
"She'll be okay. Don't worry." I said
"Thank you." He said
I then felt the wound. It wasn't a normal knife. It must of been laced with poison and silver because it isn't healing. I then saw Kaden in the floor with the blade in his leg. He was trying to pull it out. I stood over him watching him struggle.
"No one messes with my family." I said as I stabbed the knife further in his leg, I then pulled it out and stabbed him in the chest.
"Go to hell." I said walking away.
I'm sorry Hazel, I'll have to tell Luke.
Babe, I have a problem, you better promise not to freak out. No promises and what's wrong? Okay come to the East border. Coming. The healers arrived before Luke and started treating Hazel. They started taking her to the infirmary when Luke showed.
"I'm here, wait! WHATS WRONG WITH HAZEL! WHY'S A ROUGE HERE!! BABE WHATS GOING ON!" His voice boomed and everyone apart from Percy and myself were quaking. He's a strong kid.
"I can explain." I said
