Chapter 29. Violet

Hazel's POV:

"You need to remember child. We aren't strong enough but your heart is the strongest of them all." She said as she pointed me towards the girl.
I looked at her as tears rolled down her cheeks. I didn't notice the witches chanting gently almost helping me remember. I held out my hand outstretched to her. She gently touched my hand and suddenly a word rolled off of my tongue. It was as if I had no control of what I was saying.
"Violet." I said as she smiled as more tears rolled down her cheeks.
She ran up to me and hugged me, suddenly I felt so much emotions towards her as memories came back one by one. I looked behind me to see Indigo and Pete emerging from the crowd. They ran as fast as they could and lifted her up and hugged her.
"Mom, Dad." She said as they all cried together
"We're here." Pete said
"We missed you so much." Indigo said as they kept hold of each other.
I smiled and felt tears on my face. Mom rushed up to me and stroked my hair and Dad hugged us both. Percy looked at us and smiled. Mom noticed and called him over, she pulled him into the hug as he practically fell over. We felt like a true family.

When we got away from the border we made our way to the training ground. I groaned as Percy pulled me along. He brung me to the sparring area and we stood face on.
"You need to train, so we are going to spar." He said
"Ugh." I said and a trainer came along
"I'm Jack, your new trainer. When in combat you need to be prepared for anything and that's why we are going to let you use your powers later." He said
"Okay." I said as I faced him
He stretched a bit before facing me.
"No shifting or powers aloud. Fight." Jack commanded
Percy ran at me and I ran at him, before contact he slid his foot at mine so fast as I made contact with the ground. I groaned as he pulled me up. I grunted and ran at him fast. I tackled him but he caught my arms and pushed me away.
"Nice try babe." He said as I grunted
"Jack, can we do some training first? Like you teaching me rather than getting beaten to a pulp?" I asked
"Sure, but when we've trained your both sparring full out with wolves and powers until one of you submits." He said
"Agreed." We said as I walked out of the sparring area and to the training zone.
"Hazel, you need to use your powers and shift to your advantage." He said
"Okay." I said as I focused
"But first in order than letting Chloe do all the work we need to work on your combat skills." He said as he smirked a bit
"Okay so how are we going to do this?" I asked him
"Like this." He said as I didn't even he his foot before it hit my head.
"What was that for?" I asked
"Speed can make the difference from dying or staying alive." He said
"I understand." I said
"Good, now again!" He commanded as we started to train

Surprisingly two hours later I seemed to have improved. I ran at Jack and kicked at his feet. He fell down but before making contact with the ground he pulled me over. I then grabbed him before touching the ground and landed on top of him. Then he landed face down on the ground.
"Your ready. Come on I'll spectate." He said as he led me back to the sparring area
I walked up and got myself ready. Percy then came up and stood at the other side.
"No limit's only that when one submits to the other they are announced the winner." Jack said as he winked at me
"Good luck." Percy said
"You'll need it." I replied as he growled slightly
"You got this Hazel, Fight!" He said as Percy ran at me faster than ever before.
I felt my wings materialise as I dodged it floating slightly. I sweeped his feet as he landed on the ground. He shifted and growled. Your going to get it later. His voice filled my head. I focused and used my wings to blow a gust of wind in his direction. He looked like he was getting weaker. I then touched the ground with my feet and he ran at me. I floated off of the ground and then ran at him. He ran at me at the same time and we made contact, I floated back then shifted. When I touched the ground I growled and knocked him off of his feet. He lay down and submitted. We shifted as I floated gently as Percy smiled at me.
"Hazel wins." Jack said as I smiled at him
"Thank you." I said
"No problem Hazel. You did it yourself." He said as he hugged me gently
Percy growled as we hugged.
"I was just thanking him! Geez!" I said to him as he growled again
I walked over to him and ran my fingers along his jawline.
"Behave." I said before walking off leaving him speechless.
