Chapter 24. I Don't Care

Hazel's POV:

I've been falling down for a while now. At every passing minute I've been hearing more and more. My body feel's like it's floating, if I think about it hard enough I can stop it falling. I can't concentrate right now though, all I can hear is what's happening.
"Come on Babe, you can do it. Me and Percy are waiting for you." Someone said in a deep voice
I think it's Ryan, I'm not used to the voice but I can feel tingles in my hands. Suddenly I felt Chloe surface. It was as if she had been born again, I stopped falling and lay in the sky. I'm here, the syringe was trying to kill me off. It's good to have you back Chlo. It's time to wake up. Whatever Nameless gave me must of been to kill us, but I'm stronger than that. Whatever it did activated or triggered something. I don't know what but I intend to find out. Before I could react a bright light shined in my eyes and slowly I was starting to wake up.

Luke's POV:

I watched as Ryan held her hand. He was asleep on the chair but never letting go. He'd stayed here all night. Hazel's hand twitched a bit and Ryan jumped out of his chair. He stroked her hair as she started twitching all over, her eyes blinking as they were shut. Then suddenly her eyes opened. Her brown eyes laced with a green ring around the iris.
"Healer!" I shouted as a group came running
"What's wrong alpha?" One said
"Her eyes they are different and what are the results of the tests?" I said
"Oh her eyes, that must of been Chloe surfacing and the process activating. The tests are coming soon." Another said
"What process?" I asked confused and angry
"The powers" another muttered
"Speak up." I said looking at them
"Remember, the moon goddess blessed Coco, Hazel and you with powers." He said
"Why now?" I asked
"The serum triggered it as hers was meant to kill Chloe, but she's to strong." He said
"Thank you." I said

Hazel's POV:

"Dad I have powers?" I asked confused, I didn't know about any of this
"Yes, you do but they are part of the process." He said as he hugged me gently
Chloe, do you know what's going on. It's all happening soon, just wait.
"Ryan?" I asked as I looked at him
"Yes babe." He said taking my hands
"Why are you in control and what is the serum doing to you?!" I asked getting a bit worked up
"The serum gave me control with a blood thirst making me unaware of what's happening." He said
"Oh, when will it be okay?" I asked worried
"When it's out of my system." He said as he smiled a little bit
"When can I get out of here?" I asked
"Now if you like?" He asked smiling
"Yes." I said as I wrapped my arms around his neck
He carried me as Dad stayed with the healers. He brung me to my bed and lay me down gently.
"Everything is going to be okay. I'm different than how I used to be, now that I've got you." He said as he smiled
"I know, I believe you." I said as I smiled back.
He kissed my forehead and walked towards the door.
"I'll let you rest." He said smiling
"Thank you Ryan." I said
He smiled and closed the door behind him. I hope that he's okay.

Ryan's POV:

As I closed her door I wanted to stay with her. I smiled to myself as I walked downstairs and made my way to the door. When I went outside I sensed something was wrong. I felt two more pricks in my neck and something sink in. I turned around and growled feeling blood lust once more. Nameless stood there with an empty and one full syringe. One was filled with my blood. I growled and then all I could see was red. Nameless shouted something but I couldn't understand those human words. My claws grew and I shifted faster than before and then everything didn't matter. I ran after Nameless and let my teeth sink into his leg. I shook him like a lifeless toy. He screamed and threw the blood somewhere. I heard more footsteps and someone else picked it up and ran. I shook him and then noticed that his eyes started to close. I threw him up into the air and he got caught in a tree. He groaned and I knew he wouldn't heal. I ran after the other person tasting blood in my muzzle. More people came into view and they passed over the syringe. I clawed at them making them collapse with huge grazes across them. Then bit the one that ran away. Then I didn't know what was going on. I didn't care what I was doing. I don't care.
