Chapter 17. Surprises

Percy's POV:

I haven't left Hazels side in the infirmary. Her parents are just coming through, they seem more friendly though so I think that's a good sign. Her mother was already in a good mood but her father was sending me hatred. Now he seemed more welcoming. I took Hazel's hand in my own as I looked at her, she looked beautiful no matter when I saw her. He twitched every so often and whenever she did I felt worry take over.

I had been looking at her for so long I didn't notice that her parents had been looking at us for a while. Her mother had an ear to ear smile spread across her face she looked like a Cheshire Cat. Her father had a small smile on but was trying to hide it. I looked at them both as they approached me.
"Son, would it be okay if we can get you a trainer so that you can have control." He said with a smile at the end
"Really?" I asked as he nodded
"Thank you so much sir." I said
"No problem son, I accept that your my daughters mate, I Alpha Luke Hale invite you to the Crimson Moon pack." He said
"Thank you and I accept your invite." I said gaining bigger smiles from both of them
"Welcome to the family." Coco said as I smiled
I was about to say something when I heard something behind me.
"Percy?" Someone groaned
I turned to see Hazel trying to open her eyes but muttering. I rushed over to her and took her hand again.
"Hazel come back to me, to us." I said pleading
She twitched and kept trying to open her eyes. After a few minutes her eyes flew open and she sat upright.
"Percy." She said as my arms caught her and I hugged her
"I'm here and so is your parents." I said
"Thank you." She said
The healers came in and smiled when they saw us. We pulled apart as they greeted us.
"Good news she can leave. The wound has healed and she's fine now." One said
"That's great news." I said
"Be careful." Another said
"We will." I said
I picked up Hazel in my arms and she put her head against my chest. Her eyes fluttered a bit and she looked at her parents.
"Dad Percy didn't mean." She said before getting cut off
"Honey, we've sorted it." He said smiling and looking at me
"Really?" She asked looking up at me
"Yes." I said as I kissed her forehead.
We walked out of the infirmary together as they started showing me around my new territory.

Once we reached the house they showed me the spare room. It seemed I would be staying in there until Hazel was ready. I knew she was but I'm pretty sure that Luke isn't. I don't want to upset anyone anymore, I want to start a fresh. I don't care what anyone thinks. I'm standing in my new room right now, it's pretty cool but I would much prefer sleeping and staying with Hazel. I am trying not to be overprotective over Hazel, it's just I'm worried since she's just been severely injured and I'm overthinking and overreacting. I'm calming down now but not everyone is, I can hear Coco and Luke stressing about Matt and Henry. I hope that they are both okay.

Coco's POV:

Luke and I are worrying about Matt, Henry and Kaden. We know that Kaden is dead but how Henry and Matt will react to it is what's getting to us. Actually Kaden's body disappeared so some are thinking that Henry is burying it or something. I have a feeling that Matt is doing something with it, I'm not sure though, we will find out though and whatever he is planning it better fail because I don't want to see how it turns out.
