My P.O.V

*A few months later*

"Come on Adonia, let's gooooo!" I screamed at her.

It's the beginning of summer.

No more school.

Well, after the after the break up, we of course went back home.

My mom comforted me here and there when I still break down.

Adonia and I went to a new school since, the accident before New York.

It's a little further, but it's a nice school.

Soon, we'll be able to drive to school.

Yup, that's right, we're going to take our drivers test right now!

We got it on the same day too!

It's a little late birthday present, since our birthdays are 3 days apart, and it's been a week since then.

"Coming!" She screamed back. Running down the hall.

"Are ya ready?" I asked her.

"Mhm!" She beamed.

Since we didn't have our licenses yet, we took the bus 'cause our moms are "out shopping".

I know they're up to something.

Adonia does her test first.

I sat and played on my tablet until my name was called.

"Terry, Savannah?" She called out.

"That's me!" I beamed, standing up.

"Right, so, how old are you?"

"Just turned 16! Me and my best friend are here. We can't wait to get our license!" I rambled on.

She's nice. She kept a real smile on her face and nodded to tell she was listening to me.

"So, we're going to take you over to the other building so you can get a car. "

Walking out of the building, I spotted Adonia.

She had this big cheesy grin on her face.

She started mouthing out words that I didn't understand.

She should know by now that I can't read mouth.

I cocked my head sideways, giving her a look of confusion.

She rolled her eyes and took out her phone.

"I'm pretty sure I passed! At first, I freaked out, like, what the quack do I do!? But, I got it down! I'm sure I passed! Soon, we'll be hittin' the beach L.A style!! "

I can't help but smile at her weirdness.

"Congrats! Lol, I'm about to take my test! Ahhh! Im soo nervous!! Wish me luck!"

"Good luck! You'll do fine!"

I silenced my phone and headed into the next building.

"Okay, here, we're going to have you sign some papers saying if we get in a crash it isn't our fault or responsibility, you know. "

She handed me the papers and headed to a back room.

Soon enough I'm in the car.

Driving around the parking lot, I see 2 pink Volkswagen beetles.
