“Think?” I asked finding myself lean closer to him.
“Yeah but right now I’m not so sure,” he said before looking out the window. He wasn’t sure about what? About his feelings for me? For Corinne? What was he talking about?
“About what?” I asked turning his head back towards me but he didn’t make eye contact, “Justin what are you talking about?”
“Kacie I-” Justin started but was interrupted by a flight attendant.
“Hi! Would the two of you like anything to drink?” she asked smiling a little too happily.
“Yeah please,” Justin said his voice cracking adorably, “one ginger ale and a tomato juice,” he ordered. I looked over to Logan as the woman walked away and sighed at how cute he was, “Hey lets watch a movie,” Justin suggested making me look back towards him.
I nodded.
******
“Does she always snore like that?” I heard a vaguely familiar voice ask.
“Yeah, usually she talks about me undressed, and-” as I heard Justin say this I shot up and saw the two of them, Justin and Logan, standing over me and smiling down at me.
“I don’t talk in my sleep,” I said standing up and gathering my things to depart the plane
“Yeah she does,” Justin pushed me off the plane, “All night.”
“Shut up!” I yelled grabbing his hand and pulling him closer to me, “You ‘re just making it clear that you sneak into my room at night.”
“I never said I didn’t,” Justin whispered into my ear mock seduction filling his voice.
That made my hair stand up on the back of my neck. His breath was warm and smelled minty fresh, “gross!” I yelled out laughing slightly, “We are in an airport Justy, don’t tempt me.”
Logan laughed at that and grabbed the bag I was struggling with, what a gentleman. I don’t know what Justin’s deal with him was. He seemed perfectly sweet to me.
“Oh my god it’s so hot out here!” I groaned as soon as we got outside of the airport where a few people snapped our pictures, “It’s like ninety percent humidity!”
Justin just smiled and started helping our driver load our bags into the car as I stood with Logan on the curb and looked up at the sky, and was immediately amazed at how blue it was, all until I was pulled into the car by Justin, not my most graceful moments caught on film. And as I turned to wave to Logan I found him lost in the sea of people.
“So where are we going first?” I asked Justin as the car began to move.
“The hotel,” he responded dully.
“Oh come on!” I groaned, “Let’s do something fun!”
“It is going to be fun. It’s a themed hotel,” he smiled at me, “with a tram right to the parks.”
I squealed and clapped my hands happily. I was so excited to be in Florida and was looking forward to spending time with Mickey mouse, he and I were going to become very close.

“ Logan , splash me one more time,” I exclaimed immediately being bombarded by numerous splashes, “ Logan !”
Logan stopped quickly only to pick me up, throw me over his shoulder, and flip me into the water making me laugh hysterically and push down on his shoulders dunking him into the water.
“So how long are you here for?” Logan asked as we waked towards the lazy river and grabbed some inner tubes.
“Well we flew in today, so…about a week.”
I was actually lucky that Logan ended up coming because if he didn’t I would have ended up spending my first day in Disney alone, in my hotel room, as Justin was out putting the finishing touches on his birthday party.
“And you are staying in the same room as Justin the entire time?” Logan asked linking his legs with mine in order for us not to separate. Why was he so interested?
“Yeah why?”
“Kacie he is in love with you,” Logan blurted out.
What was he talking about? Justin was not in love with me. Why did everyone always think that he and I were so in love with each other? I mean yes I found him attractive and yes he is everything I’d ever want in a man buy why am I trying to deny this I am so in love with him? It’s crazy I don’t even know the point of fighting it.
“He does not,” I stated sadly. At least I knew that was the truth.
Logan laughed humorously, “Kacie I saw you at the show. I saw that kiss, if he doesn’t love you the he’s the best actor in the world,” as we floated I couldn’t help but begin to feel sorry for myself.
“He’s with Corinne,” I pointed out.
“And you’re with Kyle,” Logan stated, “That doesn’t stop you from loving him.”
“I can’t help it!”
“Neither can he!”
“I hardly know you,” I spoke lowering my octave a fair amount, “Why am I letting you get to me like this?”
“Because I’m a non-biased party,” he was right. He didn’t gain or lose anything whether I like Justin or not. Everyone else I knew had their very loud and obnoxious opinions. Nikki and my other friends from home, aside from Kyle, all thought I should be with Justin, and everyone else I was close to thought I should have been with Kyle. Logan was the only person I knew who was in the gray area.
“Yeah you’re right,” I said leaning my head into the water, which felt really nice on my hot scalp. I then heard the distinct hoots-and-hollers of teenage boys. I had been spotted, “Go away,” I groaned to myself.
“Damn girl you’re looking fine in that bikini,” One of them yelled as they walked alongside us.
“Yeah that boys lucky to be right there with you,” another whistled.
“Don’t listen to them Kace,” Logan told me grabbing my hand, but I was not going to put up with that kind of thing. Not at Disney world. Not when I had just realized I was totally and completely in love with my best friend. And before I knew it I was climbing up the stairs, out of the water and up to the guys pulling my sunglasses off my face to glare at the three of them.
