"kacie over here! Justin, Wade, wrap your arms around her." the photographers were all yelling as we stood on the stage posing for pictures, "Kacie stand with Elle now!" now this was fun. These photographers were screened by our people they weren't paparazzi. They seemed to be humans.
Then as Justin and I walked out of the theatre we were ambushed bay his fans all fighting for his attention.
They were a direct representation of who were inside. There were boys and girls of all shapes sizes and ages. And they were mostly polite. Well not really but at least they weren't pushing each other.
"Hey guys. I'm so happy y'all came out to see me." he was telling everyone as he signed their magazines and pictures and clothing items.
"Kacie?" I heard a small voice next to me and turned to see a little girl wither her mother right behind her, "I think you're really pretty."
As I heard this I could feel my heart smile. That was such a sweet thing for a little girl to say. Little girls dont lie. I couldn't help but bend down and hug the girl tightly.
"I think you are really pretty too." I laughed after I pulled away from her, "And thank you very much. It really means a lot to me. Can I get a picture?" I asked pulling out my phone and handing it to her mother and smiling at the camera waiting for the flash, "Wait. Before we do this, what's your name sweetie?"
"Kayla." she whispered bashfully into my ear.
"Well Kayla. Say cheese!"
"Cheese!" the both of us yelled as her mother took our picture and handed me back my camera.
“Thank you so much!” I squealed hugging Kayla again before feeling myself being tugged back towards Justin.
Where I stood and posed for many more pictures and signed dozens of magazines on most of which all you could see was either the back of my head or my hand or even Justin hiding my face. I have no idea why people wanted me to sign them. But I ended up doodling little pictures on most of them which is probably why Justin got through a whole bunch more than me. He had a whole system down. Pose, sign, pose, sign, pose, pose, pose with me, sign. It was pretty funny to watch him actually. I couldn't help but laugh.
"Excuse me miss can I get this signed!" I heard a vaguely familiar voice ask me from my right making me turn that way and see Nikki and Wes standing there making me let out a high pitched scream making everyone around me a little confused as I hugged re two of them.
"What are you doing here!" I asked them turning from Justin's and making my way out of the crowd, "Why aren't you at school?"
"We heard you were doing this and both conveniently have a long weekend," Nikki stated, "So we had to come see you!"
Oh my goodness it's my friends! I couldn't help thinking as I hugged Wes again tightly without letting him go. I has no idea how much I missed them until I saw their beautiful faces. There was only one person missing. One that I'd only spoken to once since leaving over a week ago.
"What's Kyle doing this weekend?" I asked the two of them.
"Um, actually I don't know." Nikki said as we made our way to the big black van that brought Justin and I to this conference, "I don't really talk to him now that you're gone."
"Why not?" I asked her. They always talked to each other, well argued is probably a better way to put it I guess, but they never ignored each other.
