I have built a billion lives with you
All of which live within my head
All of which live in my heart
I have built every life I've ever wanted with you
But none can ever be trueI see you in everything
The moon
The sun
My cup of black coffee
The fresh winter snow
The cloudless sky on a summers day
The storm head climbing the horizonEvery note I play holds your touch
Every gasp holds your name
Every pang of anxiety twisting in my stomach holds your voice
And every tear holds the pain buried deep in my chest knowing you can never be mineI build dreams of a life with you
You build a life with someone else
I watch
In pain
But I smile
For I know that you are much happier with her than you could ever be with me
And so
I wish you well
And I wish you happiness
But still
I wish
For you
