I have found home in an occupied space
I find comfort in a man bound in vows
I lie alone in the dark longing for your touch
But yours belongs to another
And for that,
I break

I dove head first into the shallow end
I ignored the warning signs
I broke the rules
I ignored the people trying to save me
But I broke my heart when I hit the bottom
You couldn't be there to catch me
So alone,
I drown

I cannot find solace in another man
It all feels wrong and I cannot continue
So I leave alone
I lie alone
I live alone
My heart has broken by fault of my own
And now,
I shall die
Alone
