( A/N: I'm truely really sorry it took so long to write another part for this but writer's block has me really bad. I can't work out where I'm going with this story, mostly as some parts seem to be in the wrong order. I think I'll finish it and then hopeful do a full rewrite. For now enjoy :) )
You stood quietly at the entrance of the maze, your eyes looking ahead as you wait for Thomas. You wondered just who Thomas would get to come along with you both. As you remained there alone, you began to think about what you had seen when looking down at Teresa. One question rang thourgh your mind and that was why was Teresa here?
You were so deep in thought that when someone touched your shoulder, you couldn't help but jump slightly. You turned around to see Thomas and smiled warmly towards him. He of course wasn't alone, he had returned with Minho as well as some of the other Gladers. "Let's go" you said as you began to lead the way with Thomas, both of you taking up a slow jog, this was of course so that the others could keep up.
Thomas looked around, even in the day he seemed to know just where he was going. At least in the daylight there was no grievers or at least it seemed there were non. After sometime, you found the place where the sandwiched Griever still was. The small group of Gladers move back as they hadn't seen one so up close before. Of course they were not alone, untill last night. you hadn't seen one either and pretty much gotten chase around the maze by it.
Thomas was the one who moved forward, you watched as his eyes seemed to scan over it. "We should pull it out" he said. You felt somewhat nervous about the idea of actully touching it but you had very little say in the matter. Everyone all needed to learn more about the Grievers , if you were ever to leave the maze. There was a very good chance that you'd have to face them again and maybe learning a weakness other than the maze walls. Would be away to fight them back.
"Come on" Thomas said as he grabbed hold of one of the legs that was sticking out from the wall. You sighed softly as you rolled up your sleves and took a place behind him, also grabbing the leg. It didn't take to long for the others to join and as a group you pulled. You felt movement as a group the remains were pulled free from the wall. But then it moved slightly, almost as if giving off one last bit of fght, even thought it was clearly dead. Everyone jumped back, even Thomas who pulled you close had moved back.
"I though it was die?" said one of the other Gladers. You moved closer and looked it over. "It is, I guess that was just a little jolt of left over life" you said softly as you rubbing your arm slightly. "We should head back" "No wait" Thomas said as he moved forward and pulled something free from it. You moved closer to see just what he may of removed. What you say in his hands was a beeping mechanical device. The two of you looked at each other before you lightly took his arm.
"I think I have an idea, it's far off but maybe" you said before losing your train of though but the look on Thomas's face told you all you needed to know. He was thinking the very same thing, this device maybe the key to finally leaving the maze. He took your hand and began to lead the way out. Your cheeks slowly went a dark shade of red as you began to jog again but this time you were holding his hand. As you finally made it back to the entrance of the maze, there waiting was Gally. He didn't look happy at all. "Who said you come leave?" he snapped before he saw the device. Before you could answer he stepped forward and went to take the device from Thomas. Thomas pulled his hand back. "No we need this" he said to him.
It was then he glaired right at you. "Y/N, all hell broke lose the moment you steped into the Glade" he shouted, his face already going a dark shade of red. You couldn't help but move slightly closer to Thomas, you thought grievers were terrifying. But they didn't hold a candle to when Gally was angry. It was then over Gally's shoulder that you saw Newt walking over. "Your all back" Newt smiled before getting a dark look from Gally. "I want her locked up" Gally finally snapped. You couldn't help but sigh, this was far from your fault. If it hadn't been for you and Thomas, you would of lost Alby and Minho. "She disobeyed and went into the maze" Gally's eyes not once leaving you as you still remained closed to Thomas.
"Gally, so did I" Thomas snapped slightly. "If she goes so do I" You could feel Gally's face grow even darker in colour as you stood there before him.
