-Monica Thompson's POV-
"Thank God it's Friday." I said to Camille who was three lockers down from mine.
"I know!" She said as she kneeled on the ground to stuff all her binders and books in her backpack, "We hanging out tonight?"
"Heck yeah man! Lets have a sleep over." I say then walked over and gave her a high five.
"Your room or mine?" Camille asked me, since we both live in the pack house, while standing up.
"What if we used to old movie room in the basement?" I suggested, slamming my locker closed.
Camille came to my side as we started walking down the hall in the direction of the parking lot.
"Ooo, that would be cool! Nobody goes down there any way." She said with a grin on her face, "We could hook up a gaming console and play some Black Ops."
"Sounds like a plan, Stan." I told her.
"My names not Stan."
"No duh, Cami." I said sarcastically, rolling my eyes in the process.
We continued our trek to the parking lot, just enjoying each others company, when Dean popped out from one of the intersecting hallways causing me to jump.
"Hey, Babe." He said, throwing one of his arms over my shoulders.
"You scared the crap out of me, Dean!" I exclaimed and slapped him on the chest, "And I'm not your 'Babe.' We're not even together."
"Okay. Monica will you be my girlfriend?" He asked, pulling me into his side.
"No, we haven't had our first kiss yet." I told him with a small smile and looked to Camille for some help but she just kept walking straight ahead like nothing was happening.
Dean pulled me to a stop and cupped my cheek with one hand, beginning to lean on closer. His lips were approximately an inch away from mine.
And I shoved his face away with one of my hands that were hanging lamely by my side.
"Ow! What the hell?" He asked me rubbing his cheek that now had red finger print marks on it.
"We haven't been on our first date yet either." I said laughing and turning to walk towards the doors at the end of the hall and I see Camille already standing by them, leaning against the frame.
"Will you go on a date with me?" He asked.
"Why are you so persistent, and when?" I asked him as he fell into step beside me.
"Tonight." Dean told me.
"I can't, I already have plans." I said with a smirk.
He came to and abrupt stop, spinning me to look at him as he searched my face with a small, angry, fire in his eyes.
"With who?" He said seriously.
"My best friend." I said laughing at him and turning to look at Cami. She just smiled and waved at us from where she was standing a ways off, but I knew she'd been listening the whole time.
He groaned in frustration, "Why are you so difficult?"
"I didn't say no, I just said I can't tonight." I said with a shrug then turned on my heel to walk to Camille and out the door. But not before I could see the look of shock the realization cross his face.
Once Camille and I were in the parking lot and I had heard the door click shut I shoved her shoulder with mine causing her to trip over her two left feet, metaphorically speaking, but not completely fall to the ground.
