Caleo in High school

Okay this first chapter sucks. I'm really not proud of it so maybe if you want go ahead and skip to the next chapter. And I don't think this story is going to have a great anything. I just want to write a cute little Caleo thing, I want them to fall in love and be cute. So just a warning this story does not have a good plot just some drama and Caleo falling in love. Oh and I like constructive criticism.

Leo was laughing and shoving power tools into his suitcase as Calypso sang about a dinosaur and his pet human. It had been a month since the seven had defeated Gaea and Leo had rescued Calypso from Ogygeia. She had been living at camp half-blood in the big house and Leo was falling in love with her. He was beginning to feel like a normal teenager or as normal as he could feel, at a demigod camp. All of his friends stayed at camp half-blood except for Frank and Hazel who had returned to camp Jupiter. They got to hang out and go to the beach and prank each other. The summer had been perfect but it was coming to a close and Chiron was sending Leo and Calypso, to a normal mortal high school. The old centaur thought that sending Calypso to a high school would help her transition into the modern world. They were leaving that day and starting school tomorrow.

"Packing clothes would probably be wise." Calypso advised smirking.

"I don't need clothes that much." Leo grinned at her "Besides I have a few shirts and I always end up burning them."

"You're mad!" Calypso rolled her eyes and laughed. She walked over to his dresser and started pulling things out and throwing them at him. "This and this and this." she was laughing.

"C'mon sunshine," Leo was laughing too. "I'll buy clothes there, or something!" Calypso pulled out a pair of pink boxers covered in hearts. She burst into fit of laughter and Leo turned a bright red.

"You'll definitely need these." She said nailing him in the face with the undershorts, throwing her into another uncontrollable fit.

"Oh now you're going to get it!" Leo shouted and ran towards her she squealed and darted to the right. He chased her around the vacant cabin 9. Until he finally caught her and pinned her to the bed. He tickled her stomach and her sides she was shouting and laughing along with Leo.

"Fine! I surrender! Curse you Leo Valdez!" Calypso was smiling up at Leo,he let go of her but they were both still laughing. She remembered how she felt when she first saw him, all that anger she had stored up inside her. She thought about the first time they kissed and then when he came back and rescued her. She felt her eyes welling but she held back the tears. "Thank you." she whispered but he didn't hear her. She could never tell him how she really felt.

Leo held up the boxer shorts and examined them, he smiled and threw them back at Calypso.

"Hey!" Calypso protested. There was a knock at the door. Leo opened it to Percy.

"Hi, um you're van is here" he scratched the back of his neck. He was still awkward around Calypso after the whole her falling in love with him and him leaving her thing. Leo looked back at her, she was sitting cross-legged on the bed, folding his clothes and setting them in the suitcase. "Have fun. We'll miss you Valdez." Leo nodded to him.

"Yeah, we'll miss you to Jackson. See you around." They shook hands and Percy headed towards his Cabin. "Alrighty. Lets get going." Leo clapped his hands and zipped his suitcase up. His tool belt was still hanging off his hips and his pants were being kept up by suspenders. He started rolling the suitcase out of the room and Calypso was following behind him she had a small white duffel bag that Leo was pretty sure was magic. He got one last good look at Cabin 9 and then closed the door and hiked up towards the Thalia's tree.

"I am excited," Calypso's eyes sparkled "We are going to have so much fun." Her hair was braided to the side, and the way the light was coming made it look like melting honey.

"High school actually sucks." Leo smiled at her. "You're going to hate it." Leo grabbed her hand and tilted his head back, he knew that it was going to be a long ride. The sound of the engine running calmed him down a little. He still hadn't told Calypso how he felt despite, Pipers insistence on the matter. They had been spending a lot of time together at camp, him and Calypso, but it didn't make her any less intimidating to Leo. He was certain she belonged with a handsome, prince-like guy, and she definitely deserved better than a repair boy. Sometimes, Leo thought that maybe she was into him, but those moments were always short and ended with her embarrassed. Usually Calypso would say 'That didn't happen,' and Leo would nod his head or say 'yes ma'am.' But for the most part they were close, they liked picking on each other and working together in and around bunker 9. Calypso had planted a garden outside the bunker, where Leo would sit and watch her garden, or Calypso would go into the Bunker and watch Leo work on his many projects.

He was actually terrified of going back to high school and nothing seemed to calm that fear even the hum of the car didn't do much when he thought about school. He knew that in a few months the rest of the seven and Nico would join Calypso and him at the boarding school, but not even that was settling the feeling of utter terror. He was also extremely worried about Calypso, there was no question in his mind that she could handle herself but he was afraid that she would meet some tall jock with bedroom eyes and completely forget about Leo. They sat in silence for a while, Leo's thoughts of bullies and teachers and homework did little to calm him down. He thought a lot about his first high school, and how mean all the kids were. He wondered what Calypso would think of him after she met all the bigger and cooler kids at their new school. Sure, Leo had grown taller and gained some weight and muscle, but he was still pretty small, just barely taller than Calypso. All these thoughts were curling around his mind, scaring him and threatening him, he didn't even realize they had pulled into a parking lot.

"Leo, wake up. We are here." Calypso shook his arm. He sat up in his seat and stretched his body out. A tall thin man was waiting outside their window, with a few files in his arms. He was talking to Argus who just nodded his head.

Leo turned to Calypso "You ready?" She just nodded, "Here goes nothing." He opened the door and he shuffled out with Calypso,

"Hello kids." He shook their hands quickly, his hands were cold Leo noted. "I'm Dr. Hensley, the head master here at Conrad Prep. I have your schedules here," he said handing them both a piece of paper. "Calypso Isla, you are in room 253, and it looks like you don't have a roommate, lucky gal." Dr. Hensley smiled at the paper and handed her a key and a piece of paper that looked like a type of map. "That building right there." he pointed to a large stone building. "And Leo Valdez, room, 255, two doors down from your friend and..." he examined the paper he was still holding in his hands "It looks like you have a room mate, Chris Johnston, he's a good kid. You'll like him." He handed Leo a key and a paper,a map of what looked like the campus. "Alright here are you're handbooks." He handed each of the two a large book full of rules, school dates, and other 'important' information. "Oh I almost forgot, there is a school store on the floor below your rooms or you could go to the mall across the street but you can only go there on weekends. Dinner will be served at 5:30 hope to see you there." he smiled, it was a wide creepy smile that made Leo a little uncomfortable.

"Alright thank you sir." both Calypso and Leo moved to the back of the van to get their things.

"Oh and Valdez, I read your file," The look he gave Leo reminded him of all the teachers and foster parents who caught him after he had run away, full of accusation and disappointment. "Behave, I'm watching you." Then he stalked away, his legs were long and carried him fairly quickly.

"That guy was weird," Leo whispered to Calypso.

"Yes, he was a strange man." She pulled out her small duffel bag, Leo pulled out his suitcase.

This was really short and I don't really like writing in third person, I'm going to try to do the rest in first. Well alright tell me what you think and all that junk.
