“Do you mean it?” Her voice was shaking.

“I mean it more than Chris could ever mean it.” I smirked and shrugged.

“Leo, be serious for two seconds. Do you mean it?” Of course I meant it, I had wanted to tell her I loved her since I brought her back from Ogygia, but not like this. I had planned an extravagant evening with fireworks and a flight on festus to Paris. But this moment was as good as that.

“Yeah, I do.” I said quietly.

“Thank you.” Calypso whispered and buried her head in my shoulder again. I rubbed her back and let my hands get tangled in her soft hair. We stood like that for a long time, she began humming a soft tune and I smiled. “I think I love you too.” My body filled with a strange warmth. She let go and looked at me in the eye. “You're getting really hot.”

“I'm sorry. I don't mean too. It just happens sometimes.” I felt shame wash over me, but she smiled and grabbed my hand.

“You better get a handle on it,” Calypso smirked and wrapped her arms around my neck. “So I can do this as much as I want.” She pulled me into her and kissed me. Her lips moved expertly against mine and I felt clumsy and inexperienced. She wrapped her fingers around the tips of my hair, and sent shivers down my spine. I put my hands around her waist and pulled her against me.

“Oh, um hi.” I heard someone outside of our kiss say. “Looks like you guys made up. And out.” She whispered. Calypso let go of me and stepped away.

“Hey pipes.” I laughed awkwardly. “Wanna join?” I joked and they both shot me looks that reminded me how handy each of them were with a knife. “Right.” I tried to laugh it off.

“Are you guys just going to hang out in my room or..?”

“No, we are going on a walk.” Calypso was laughing as she grabbed my hand and started dragging me towards the door. We walked through the campus and talked about camp and the rest of the school year. I wanted to ask her why she kissed Chris if she didn't like him. But decided better of it because I really didn't want to let this moment slip by. As we neared the garden she slipped her hand in mine and started pointing out plants, not hesitating to mention why each were one of her favorites. She really looked like a goddess when her face lit up and she described the purpose of each plant. We finally sat down on a bench near the middle of the garden. She leaned against me and listened as I described the robot we were making for robotics. “I have a great idea!” Calypso shouted sitting upright. “Wait here I will be back in a few minutes.” She stood up and started jogging away. I pulled a few wires and other loose scraps and began mindlessly assembling them. I couldn't remember the the last time I had felt this happy but a small part of me felt skeptical. Why would she suddenly become so interested in me?  How long had she 'loved' me? And of course the question of the hour: Why did she kiss Chris if she didn't actually like him? I fiddled with the wires and tried to convince myself nothing about the scenario was as sketchy as I felt like it was. I looked down at my hands and I was holding a spinning, metal flower. I'd give it to Calypso. I smiled at the flower.

“That looks a little creepy.” A female voice said giggling. Kailee was smiling down at me. “It's cute though.” Her cheeks turned pink.

“Thanks. It seems I finally have the woman of my dreams.” I sighed contentedly.

“And I guess its not me.” I was taken aback, because I hadn't realized that she might be interested in me. “I like you Leo. A lot.” I couldn't figure out what to say. Lots of girls had turned me down before but I had never done it, especially to a girl as pretty as Kailee.

“Look, I'm-”

“You don't have to apologize. I get it.” She smiled. “But when she breaks your heart you know where to find me.” She stood abruptly and walked away. I watched her walk away, and then buried my face in my hands. Of course Calypso would never break my heart. We loved each other. I knew she really cared about me. And the weird feeling I had could be attributed to the fact that this was my first girlfriend, my first real relationship. Even my first kiss, and I was sure she would be the only girl I kiss for the rest of my life. I had no trouble believing that we were meant for each other, to get married and grow old together. I was in love with the goddess who had been trapped on Ogygia for 3000 years.

“I'm back!” Calypso shouted coming up behind me. She kissed my cheek and sat next to me. There was a small Styrofoam box in her hands. “The perfect food for celebrating.” She pulled out a plump chocolate strawberry and shoved it in my mouth. I laughed as my tongue embraced the sweet chocolate and tart berry. Calypso placed another in my hand and told me to feed it to her. She ate the whole thing in one bite and managed to put her lips on my finger.

“Do you want to go hang out with the others?” I asked. Jason had told me, he had a new great game for us all to play. Calypso agreed and we headed for Hazel's room. After everyone was settled in a circle, Jason explained the game.

“It's called truth,” he said. “You have to ask deep questions.”

“Okay, but how do you win?” Annabeth asked tilting her head to the side.

“Well it's not really a winning game, but, I guess if you don't answer then you lose.” We all nodded in agreement.

“I'm out.” Nico stood.

“Don't be lame. It's like a girls sleepover. We're sharing feelings.” I tried joking.

“So sit down.” Hazel commanded. “And I'll ask the first question.” She added sweetly. “Nico, do you have a crush on anyone from either of the camps?” His pale skin turned a light shade of red, and he glanced at Jason.

“I lose.” Nico moved himself to the bed and pouted.

“Alright then, I'll go next.” Annabeth decided. “So Percy...” We all asked each other questions. They were embarrassing and Hilarious. After about ten rounds only Nico and Frank were out.

“So Calypso,” Piper announced dramatically. “What do you think is Leo's most attractive feature?”

“Well I mean everything. He is incredibly hot.” She said sarcastically.

“I am.” Everyone laughed.

“But seriously, I love his humor, and he is so sweet. And look at that hair.” She grabbed a handful of my hair and pulled my face towards hers and kissed me. There was a chorus of 'awww's and a single scoff, but I just let my eyes linger on Calypso's.

Alright, I'm not digging this chapter and sorry it took so long to update. I had a tough week, but comment and vote. Also these characters belong to Rick Riordan. Thanks!
