"Mama, make them do something. It's boring. I'm bored."
The little girl has violet hair with gold highlights, worn in two short pigtails. She pouts and crosses her arms.
"Would you like me to switch channels, my sunshine?"
"But Mama, they promised this would be good!"
On the screen, a teenage girl and boy are having what looks like a feast. They seem happy and content in each other's company.
"Darling, if you would like me to change the channel, I believe there's a documentary about killer whales on channel five -"
All of a sudden, a BOOM sounds from the screen. The girl claps her hands together and scoots to the edge of her seat.
On the screen, the girl and boy jump to their feet. The boy shouts something that the microphones don't pick up. BOOM BOOM BOOM. The pair grabs their things and runs out of the room.
The girl giggles in delight. "I told you it would get good, mama!"
Her mother sits down next to her, grinning. "It's about time."
