I woke up, and walked out of my room in a pair of shorts and a tank top. I had stayed up until midnight getting ready for a math test, and I probably had horrid bags under my eyes. I walked into the kitchen, and decided to make coffee instead of get watered-down Starbucks coffee.

"Hey beautiful," said Thomas.

"Did you hear that, coffee? Someone else agrees with me!" I said, smiling at the coffee pot that was now brewing.

"Madalyn, I meant you." he said, laughing.

"I know. But you can't say coffee isn't beautiful."

"Touché" making a hilarious face. It was in-between a smirk and a... I can't describe it other than hilarious I guess, because that's what it was.

"You want a cup?" I asked, grabbing a mug for me, my hand ready to grab another.

"No. I would not like an extremely amazing substance that helps me wake up." He said, rolling his eyes. I laughed and grabbed a cup. I filled his 3/4 of the way full, and mine half. I filled his to the top with milk, and mine too. I added sugar to mine, and handed Thomas his.

"I still can't believe how dark you take your coffee," I said, sipping mine.

"Me? Your coffee is so sweet it's like drinking sugar!" he laughed, almost spilling coffee on his shirt. I laughed.

"You haven't tried it recently! It's less sweet, the old one was little too sweet." I said.

"Well, the upside of you drinking sweet coffee is that you're sweet, though I don't think you even need the coffee for that." he smiled, and I walked over to him, sitting on his lap.

"Aww! I love you!" I said, giving him a quick kiss.

"And I love you." he said, still smiling. I poked his nose, and said, "Boop." I had set down my coffee. I sprang up, running into my room.

"You aren't getting away with that, Madds. It won't work." he was laughing.

"You'll never get past this door!" I said, pressing my weight against it.

"You want to bet."

"No..."

"I bet one kiss."

"I'll bet two."

"That I can't get past?" he sounded astonished.

"Nope. That you can."

"Fine, I'll say one that I can't." he said, so I sat across the room on the floor. He walked right in.

"Hi." I grinned. "I lose."

"You didn't even try!" he exclaimed, laughing. I just looked up at him.

"Nope."

"Alright, pay up." he said, still laughing.

"Gladly." I kissed him, and he was still laughing. I pulled away. "Stop it! How am I supposed to kiss you! You're laughing too much!" I said, and he laughed more, making me laugh.

"I never got you back," he said picking me up. He held me in one arm just long enough to boop my nose back. I kissed him, because he had finally stopped laughing.

"I paid up. But, question?"

"What?"

"Can I pay in advance?" I asked, a grin spreading on my face again.

"I won't say no..." he said, smiling.

"Good." I kissed him again, and he carried me to the living room. "Wait, I actually needed to be in my room, I have to get ready for class."

"Do you?" he asked, kissing me again.

"Stop. Yes. I have to. I wasn't there yesterday."

"You couldn't help yourself. I'm too hot." he said, smiling still.

"Whatever floats your boat," I sighed, dropping from his arms. I walked into my room and quickly threw on leggings and a black tank top and hoodie. I put on sandals, grabbed my bag, and walked to the door.

"Bye, I love you." he said, giving me a quick kiss.

"Bye. Love you too." I called as I walked out the door.
