Want to be powerful? Know yourself, you'll find you already are. -Mosi

Who?
Mommy who is my father?

Who?
I cannot tell you, but look

Here, she dragged me to a mirror

"It's his eyes you took" She smiled, pointing to my pupil. Your father is there. And look, here!

In my eyes? I feared,
Could mama being going crazy?

You hold your father, she said, happy and reminiscing

She turns over my arm, and I traced down to my palm, mama's eyes glistening

Not in your hand-- in your heart!

But the baby? I asked

If daddy is gone, who did the baby come from

God. She answered.

But mama-

If I am my father and father is gone
Doesn't that make me no one?
A ghost, left without a soul?
A fatherless child in an one parent home?

Stern set in her eyebrows
Melancholy in her eyes
But mama being mama would not tell me lies

Then something of brown fell from her words--

Ask questions, little one
Gain knowledge
Little owl
But don't always 'who'
Because most of the time the answer

Is simply you
