The phone rings from the kitchen and Effy runs down the stairs yelling she will pick it up. She prays the person calling is the only person she wants to listen to the voice of right now. Sally’s voice.

“Hello?” She says, leaning the phone on her ear.

“Guess what?” The voice she wanted to hear says.

“What Sally?” Effy rolls her eyes.

“I’m in LA. I expected more excitement from you, but ok.”

“Oh my god, finally!” She exclaims. “Here are you at?”

“We are in the Hotel Plaza. Come meet us at the room 507.”

“On my way.” Without saying anything else, she places the phone on its place and runs upstairs for her now shared room with Duff.

She gets in the room like a hurricane looking for her boots, not bothering to change her clothes. She doesn’t care if she’s wearing one of Duff’s shirts with demin shorts.

“Where are you going?” Duff asks confused by his girlfriend's actions. She seems in a rush.

“I’m going to meet up Sally. She arrived today.”

“Can I go with you?”

“Sure, but hurry up.”

Effy knocks at the door of the room 507 anxious to see her best friend again. She misses Sally so much. They had never been apart for so long. She doesn’t know how she's going to handle being way from Sally for so much time.

The door is opened revealing Sally and Effy just engulfs her in a tight embrace.

“I missed you so fucking much.” Elizabeth mumbles.

“I missed you too.” Rosalind says.

Rosalind is Sally’s real name, but she hated it so much when she was a kid that Effy found her a badass kind name. She was never called by her real name. Everyone just stuck with Sally.

They break the huh apart and Sally looks at Duff with a soft smile.

“You must be Duff.” Sally points toward the tall blond that’s standing at the room’s door.

“I am.” He confirms and she goes give him a hug.

Effy says hi to everyone in the room and gave a hug to every member of the band expect to Alex. She doesn’t tolerate him and she never will. And of course, introduces her boyfriend to his childhood best friends.

Two hours has passed by and all of them were in the hotel room chatting and telling jokes.

“So, when and where is the gig?” Effy asks towards Sally.

“Today at ten in the Troubadour.”

“Can’t wait. I miss seeing you guys playing.” Effy says. A big genuine smile playing on her lips.

She was just so happy for being around the people she loves the most. But of course, without counting on Alex.

It was now ten and Elizabeth along with the Guns boys are in the troubadour waiting for the gig.

“So this guys are your friends?” Axl asks Effy across the table.

Axl and Effy are in good terms now. He confessed he was being a dickhead and she didn’t deserve to be treated the way he was treating her. He was being unfair with her but he admitted his mistakes.
