Peter's POV
   I couldn't believe (y/n) was back in town. It's been two years and she hasn't contacted me for less than 3 weeks after she got there. I just gave up on us. I never knew how you could love someone so much and yet you grow so far apart. "Peter!?"

"What!?" I said putting my head up as fast as i could.

"I asked what we are going to do tonight. Are you okay you seem a little distracted.?" Liz said as she grabbed my hand walking down the streets of New York.

What would you expect I couldn't just wait for (y/n) for the rest of my life not knowing when she would return.

"Um-we can get some pizza at that new place downtown?"

"That sounds perfect." Liz said as she kissed my cheek.

I couldn't stop thinking about (y/n). Why did she come back. All of my feelings came back to me like a semi-truck hitting me in full force and I couldn't handle it.

At the pizza place

"So babe what are you getting?" Liz asked.

"Um-probably pizza."

She laughed "Babe you are so funny I meant what kind."

"Oh.." if is were (y/n) she would've made a sarcastic joke about me getting pizza at a pizza place but Liz was a different kind of girl...and I'm still having a hard time adjusting to it. After we got our pizza we sat outside because Liz thought it would be a good idea. It probably wasn't the best idea.

Your POV
At Stark Tower
"Okay I can't wait any longer I'm hungry." I walked to the door "Friday tell dad I went to go get pizza since he hasn't come home yet." I said to the houses A.I.
I'll try that new pizza place downtown. When you got up to the door of the pizza place you saw a familiar face. By familiar I mean Peter. Is he with Liz Allen!?
You tried to hurry up in get in the place before they recognized you.

"(Y/n)!?" Liz yelled.

I turned around and put on a fake smile "hi Liz!"

"I haven't seen you in years! Come sit with us!"

"No I don't want to intrude on your date" I said date louder to see if she would say that is wasn't one.

"Oh no you wouldn't be! come join us!"

Peter wouldn't even look me in the eye. For one of the most famous superheroes he is a really big coward.

"No really I'm fine...Peter doesn't look like he wants me to be here anyway." I said as i left not even getting the pizza I so desperately wanted.

Peter eyes were as wide as could be. He then decided to run after me "excuse me Liz! I'll be right back!"

"(Y/n)! (Y/n)! Please stop and look at me!"

How could I if i stopped he would see me cry. He grabbed my arm.

"(Y/n) come on!"

"What!" I said turning around. "You want to rub dating Liz Allen in my face even more!?"

"No that's not-hey you had a boyfriend when you went to London. Why can't I date someone. I should be mad at you! You are the one who-who didn't text me or answer my calls. You ignored me!"

"I-I didn't..."

"What didn't you do (y/n)! Huh tell me!" He yelled as he crossed his arms.

"I didn't have have a boyfriend...we-um we went on one date...I thought it would've kept my mind off of you but it didn't it-it made it worse. He kept calling me because I never said anything to him after the date. So there you go Peter! You happy now!?" I said as I ran away so he wouldn't try to catch up to me.

Peter's POV
"(Y/n)!"

I didn't know how to react to that. One date she only went on one date in two years! I feel like a jerk yelling at her like that.

One hour later
Knock knock. I went to her house.

"Dad you're finally ho-um what do-what do you want? To yell at me more."

"No I came to say sorry."

"It's fine I would've done the same thing, but I'm not ready to talk to you right now."

"I came bearing gifts!"

I said as I waved a movie and ice cream in her face. I mean we were best friends before we went out right?

She smiled and let me in.
