Hana had this planned out in a matter of seconds. The guys were in charge of getting everything ready in the large mess hall, while the girls started to get changed.
"Remind me again why we are all moving the mattresses to the dining room?" Jesse asked us, sheets all over him as he walked in front of us.
"Because the heaters work best in that room. Do you really want to take your chances to not wake up in the morning?" Jack said as he looked over to Jesse, he and Genji holding three mattresses together.
"Alright that makes sense, but why the hell am I carrying 6 mattresses...." I said with a struggled voice, holding the mattresses on my back and walking like a 100-year-old turtle.
"Because you need to test your body and how much you can handle at any opportunity!" Reinhardt said in his usual motivational tone of voice.
"Easy for you to say... You're only holding pillows..." I took a few steps forward and eventually landed on my face, the mattresses landing on me.
"Are you alright?" Winston said as he pulled the mattresses off me. I gave him a thumbs up before I stood up and walked the rest of the way with Winston helping me.
When we came back to the room everyone looked ready to fall asleep. Most of the girls were huddled up in the mattresses that we already had laid out, Angela the one who looked like she was struggling.
"You alright Angela?" Jack went up to her and the girls helped her sit up, the doctor looking green.
"No... I shouldn't have eaten so much cake. I knew what it had but chocolate is my weakness." She admitted, chuckling softly.
"I'll go get you something for the upset stomach." The commander went to get up, but the doctor grabbed his black shirt and pulled him jack down. Lena, Hana, and Mei quickly got away from the two, walking up to be beside Reinhardt and me.
"All I need is some rest. Could you please stay with me Jack? If it's not too much to ask." Angela had the commander lay back with her, the blonde woman laying her head on his chest. She cuddled up with him like a kitten, making the commander chuckle nervously with a red face.
"Oh, not at all Angela. It's a bit cold in here so I can keep you warm." The commander said softly, wrapping his arms around her.
"Thank you, Morrison." Angela smiled with a calm expression on her face. We all looked to the commander, giving him a look that said that we're so proud of him for finally getting the girl. The girls giggled like crazy, Reinhardt and I laughing out loud. The commander gave us an angry look, but he shook his head and left us to our shenanigans. He was too happy to bother worrying about what we thought.
"As long as we all stay here we will keep each other warm with the help of the heaters." Mei said as all of us got comfortable. It was rather odd to see all these highly-trained agents in sweat pants, shorts, tank tops, and sweaters. I went up to a corner and laid back, looking up to the ceiling. We all stayed quiet a moment, some of us actually managing to fall asleep. Other were finding it difficult to do so.
"Are you awake?" Lena asked out loud.
"Yeah."
"Can't sleep too Jesse?"
"Shhh. You guys, other are already asleep." Mei complained.
"Yeah, because they got drunk and want to sleep the hangover away." Hana said, laying beside me on her face.
I chuckled as they all started to argue with one another. I waved my hand around the air, a few small green cells of mine floating through the air, leaving feint traces of light.
