It's been a whole month since I became a part of Overwatch. My relationships with some of the other members has grown since my first day here. Hana and I have become the closest friends. She calls me her BFF. She says that means Best Friends Forever. It felt good to finally have a place to call home after thinking that all was lost.

My relation with Genji has grown as well. We spar on a regular basis, both in hand to hand and with weapons in hand. He helped me find out that I am rather good with a combat knife. The commander handed me one that was made of a strong yet light metal. He said it was carbon fiber.

The commander and I had grown closer together too. He had allowed me to call him Jack now. I found myself smiling when he said it. It was a nice moment.

Right now, I was with Hana and Lena, working in the large kitchen of the main building. We had decided to bake something for a small gathering that we were having later today, but their seemed to be some... Disagreements.

"I told you that we aren't going to make it out of peanut butter!" Hana complained, a cook book in hand.

"We gotta make it good for everyone Hana! Some people gave us suggestions and the least we can do is consider the possibilities."

"Yeah well we can't just put them all together. I mean look at these!" Hana looked through a small notebook, reading out the suggestions that Lena and I collected from the other operatives. "Winston wants peanut butter, Jesse was anything with rum in it, and the old man wants coffee cake. Genji said anything with cheery in it, and Angela said chocolate. Does that sound like one big cake to you?"

"It sounds possible. If I can jump back in time at will I can make a cake with all these flavors." Lena handed me a large bowl, telling me to start sifting the flour.

"Its gonna tumble and fall on your head." Hana said as she went to the large fridge to grab the eggs.

"Let's just use the instructions in the cook books and go from there. It'll work out if we all do it together." I suggested, giving the two girls a serious look. The look grabbed their attention, and they both nodded. We all quickly got to work, mixing and adding ingredients one after another. At one point Hana dropped a whole stick of butter into the mix, making it land all over the place. She laughed uncontrollably, my eye twitching as I tried to keep my cool. After some light cleaning, we put the cake mix in the pans and put them all in the over. It was all a matter of time now.

"Ok. The cake levels are in the oven. Just remember to take them out to cool in the order that I wrote down." I washed my hands in the sink as the girls started to clean up a bit.

"Gotcha chef, and may I say that your people skills are improving." Hana said as she dropped empty egg cartoons in the trash can.

"Both dialect and expressions get better the more time I spent with all of you." I washed my hands and smiled at the girl, running my hands over my hair to keep it neat. Hana had complimented me on how my hair looked better if I kept combing it back. It was easy to maintain like that so I stuck with it.

"And to think that Ana and that big oaf Reinhardt wanted to take over this job for us. Pffft." Lena went up to me and leaned her arm on my shoulder.

"Well it took some time and energy to have you two agree with each other. Good thing I was here to keep order." I said with arms crossed, keeping an eye on the oven.

Hana rolled her eyes and walked over to the other table where the icing was. She started to mix the largest bowl, struggling a bit with the thick texture of the batter.

"Hana, shouldn't you ask the guy with the big arms to help you with the icing?" Lena asked her, poking my arm.

"Nope. I got it. It's not much trouble really. I can do this with one.... Nnn... Arm tied behind my back!" She tried to keep a straight face, but her face was growing red in color. I chuckled and went up to her, extending my hand out to the handle. She huffed and handed it over, letting me stir the icing. She looked at me in the eyes as she added the food coloring, her eyes narrowed with a childish expression on her face. She moved over to the over, smiling at the rising cakes.
