I knew that I practically strangled my pillow when I slept, but something felt off this time. I felt a sudden pain in the lower region of my body, the jolt of pain making me shout and fall out of bed. I landed on my back, then rolled to lay on my side with my hands on my crotch.

"What the hell did I do..." I groaned out.

"You were strangling me you idiot!" Hana shouted, sitting up on the bed. She did sound out of breath. Maybe that wasn't my pillow I was hugging...

"You couldn't have hit anywhere else?" I said while getting up from the floor, standing up straight. I slouched down a little because the pain was still present. I can't remember the last time I was hit in the crotch...

"Sorry... It was a self defence reflex." Hana gave me an apologetic look, and I couldn't help but smile at her. I couldn't stay mad at her, we were close friends after all.

We both stood in attention when her watch and my visor suddenly went off, the Overwatch logo present on each device. We were being summoned for a mission briefing.

Within 30 minutes 6 agents were in a transport heading to Kings Row, London. Soldier 76 told us that there was Talon activity taking place towards central town, and that it was getting out of hand. They were planning an attack on  Omnic hideout. I was placed in the team of Soldier 76, D.Va, Genji, Mercy, Reinhardt and myself. Dr. Ziegler was in her Valkyrie suit, substituting for Ana who was still recovering from her injury. She could use her staff to heal the sniper, but Overwatch is low on resources. We needed to salvage as much as we could.

"We should be arriving in less than 5 minutes." Athena said through the ship's main computer.

"Ready for your first field mission David?" Soldier 76 asked me, both of us readying our weapons.

"I think I am. I just hope it doesn't end as bad as the last time I was out on the field."

"That was the first time any of us saw you. Who would've guessed that the enemy that Ana shot would end up fighting with us." Soldier 76 said with a small hint of laughter in his voice.

I sat down on the side of a table, D.Va beside me in her meck, taking the time we had until we arrived to play her game. I held my weapon close, feeling tense. This was my first mission with these agents. Somehow I felt pressured to prove myself that I was reliable, even if I had proved it before in training. I remembered what Ana told me while we were docking, to keep an eye on all of theme. She had told me how she was the protector of the squadron, and that it was my duty to defend them in this mission. I let out a breath, relaxing myself for what was to come. I knew that we would be fine, but something inside of me felt off.

A sudden bang shocked me out of my trance, the transport whirling as it lost its balance. We held on for our lives, the entire ship spinning like a top.

"Right rotor disabled! Brace for Impact!" Athena warned us, the ship's interior lighting up red with alarms blaring.

"Everyone out of the ship! D.Va you take Mercy and Befall, Reinhardt take me and Genji. Lets go people move!" Soldier 76 shouted out, every agent following his commands as quick as we could. In a matter of second I grabbed Mercy and hopped on the top of D.Va's mech. Reinhardt grabbed Soldier 76 and Genji in his arms before he leaped out of the opened hatch of the spinning plane. D.Va took flight and flew us out of the ship, moments before it crash landed in what I hoped was an abandoned apartment complex. To my relief it was. The way it collapse with no resistance let me know that the building was since long abandoned.

"We need to regroup. Everyone fall in!" Soldier 76 said through our com channels. The three of us made our way through the streets of London, following the map indication of my visor.
