"What's this?" I ask, staring down at the printed paper that Lucas tosses on top of my lap. It was Friday night and I was relaxing in bed, rewatching Gossip Girl again to unwind from grading.
Lucas climbs underneath the covers beside me and props himself up on a pillow. I try not to smile too hard at the simple, mundane action but I find it difficult. I loved having him in my bed.
"Those are my mother's flight details" he explains, pulling me back down from dreamland quite quickly and effectively. I bite my lip.
I knew this was my idea but now, the thought of seeing her this weekend made me nervous. "What if she hates me? I'd hate me" I admit, handing the papers back to him. "How could I keep Avery from your family?" I ask myself yet again.
Lucas sighs, moving the paperwork to the bedside table. "Baby, you cannot keep beating yourself up over this. It's in the past. My mom probably won't even bring up the semantics of it all" he adds in an effort to calm my nerves.
It wasn't working.
"Can we just focus on something else?" I ask, stopping my show and turning my full attention onto him.
He quirks an eyebrow at me. "What do you have in mind?" I gnaw on my bottom lip.
We would be sharing the house with Lucas' mother tomorrow which meant that certain activities would be off limits. Perhaps...
"Is there anything you'd like to do?" I ask him. He grabs my waist and I yelp, giggling uncontrollably as he pins me beneath him and climbs onto his hands on top of me.
"I mean, I do have a few ideas" he smirks, dropping his lips to the hallow of my neck. I bite back a sigh as I arch my back off the bed, grabbing his waist. "What do you want Riles?" he whispers, ghosting his lips across my skin as he comes up to nip at my ear.
I moan, closing my eyes as his hands slowly hike up my nightgown. I swore, this was something I'd never get tired of. How had I gone fourteen years without this man's touch?
His name slips past my lips as he begins to move his hand against me, beneath my panties without my response to what exactly I wanted from him. He didn't need my response. He knew my body in ways no other man would ever have the opportunity to learn.
I hit a brief moment of bliss just from the use of his hand but he knows it's not enough so, soon enough we're both stripped down to nothing and moving together. My reactions, gasps, screams, scratches on his back, it all urges him on until I'm falling apart yet again.
He expresses his want for me to hold on just a bit longer but it's impossible with the immense pleasure coursing through me so instead I begin building up a third time as he nears his end and finally, we finish together.
We're both panting as he falls to the bed beside me and I apologize for my second, unruly orgasm and he simply laughs. "You're ridiculous Riles" he insists and I grin, rolling over to kiss him.
"I love you" I whisper, caressing his cheek. He beams back at me.
"I love you more."

The airport is crowded. I mean, it's always crowded but evidently I never noticed...not until every woman looked like Lucas' mom until she didn't. I sigh, bouncing on the balls of my feet. I just really, really wanted to get this over with.
"Is that her?" Avery asks impatiently. Hayden laughs, shaking his head at her in amusement. She had been more excited than I thought imaginable when she learned that she'd be meeting her grandma this weekend and hadn't stopped talking about it since. Of course, she begged to bring Hayden to meet her as well.
