After all that drama, the victors were rushed into their rooms by their crew. It was time for interviews. Kailani was squeezed into a navy blue dress that covered her up more then the last one but showed off every curve in her body. She loved the dress, she couldnt deny it. Especially the lace sleeves and little train. They did her makeup very dramatically with gold accents around her eyes and shimmering matte blue lipstick. Her hair was pulled off her neck nicly, showing her shoulders and collar bones.

"You're done my pretty." Her stylist said.

"Thank you." Then she was rushed to the stage to wait in line with Finnick. Who, by the way, couldnt stop staring at his beautiful fiance.

"Why are you looking at me like that?" The red headed girl asked, blushing a little bit.

He cleared his throat," You-you are so beautiful."

She giggled and bit her lip to keep from smiling but failed. This made Finnick smile as well taking in all her features one last time before suddenly pulling her towards him. Her smiling face turned to one of shock as he did this.

"Finnick what are you doing? People are watching." Kailani noticed the other victors peeping out of the corner of their eyes. Some smirking, some scowling. She couldn't help but think that Snow was watching too.

"I don't care." He replied before kissing her matte blue lips. The victors who were apart of the rebellions plan smiled at this action. But others, aka Gloss and Cashmere, trembled in anger. Peeta smiled too, now he knew for sure that her lover was her partner from district four. He'd be sure to tell Katniss, maybe it'll help her trust Finnick in the arena.

The couple slowly pulled apart with rosy cheeks. They had never done that in public before, especially in the capital. "But what about Snow?" Kailani asked worriedly.

"He already knows about us. Plus we're going into the arena tomorrow morning, he cant do anything to us." He assured her as they got back in line. Thankfully none of her lipstick had gotten on Finnick or else everyone in the capital would know for sure.

The line kept moving up and when district three's male tribute walked on the stage Kailani started to get nervous. Finnick noticed this when she tried taking deep breaths and messed with her engagement ring.

"What's wrong love?" He asked worriedly.

"I'm going to give the capital a performance." She smiled nervously." If I don't make it out of that arena, I want them to hear me sing. At least once."

"Don't say that. We will make it out alive." He said in their new language." Just stay by me remember?"

She shook her head yes and took a deep breath since Caesar was wrapping up Beetee's interview. Finnick gave her hand a reassuring squeeze as Caesar announced her name.

"And now! The district we've all been waiting for! Here's our Siren! Kailani Lapis!" The crowd went wild as she took confident strides towards the shows host. Caesar bowed to her like one would to a queen and she smiled and bowed back.

"Its wonderful to see you Caesar." Kailani said, making everyone gasp. They didn't think she knew English and that's what she wanted. Mystery.

"Oh my. Last you were here you didn't know English and now it sounds like you've been fluent for years!" He laughed and the crowd followed.

"Thanks to my fellow district four tribute, I can." She smiled.

"Ah Finnick. Such a sweetheart. But! This interview isn't about him now is it folks?" He asked the crowd. "Now I've heard that you have something to share with us?"

"Yes Caesar." Kailani look towards the crowd. "I'm sure all of you are familiar with my games. I lured the tributes in with my singing. Since...Since I might never see you again, I wanted to share my gift with you." Kailani pretended to choke on her words and brought tears to her eyes. She noticed almost everyone in the audience was crying and the rest stared in awe, waiting for her to perform for them.

"Well I'm sure we'd all love to hear it." The crowd cheered and Caesar handed her that microphone to sing into. She took a deep breath and looked towards Haymitch ,who was now by her side, to start playing the guitar. He gave her a smile before starting , he couldn't wait to hear her voice either.

"I remember tears rolling down your face when I said ill never let you go. When all those shadows almost killed your light. I remember you said, don't leave me here alone. But all that's dead and gone has passed tonight." She looked toward Finnick the whole verse and then took a deep breath and looked at the audience.

"Just close your eyes, the sun is going down. You'll be alright, no one can hurt you now. Come morning light, you and I will be safe and sound." She looked at Haymitch as a tear escaped his eye and he continued to play. She admired this man so much. He had gone through hell like most of the victors did but he was the loneliest. She shed a tear of her own before wiping it away and then his.

"Don't you dare look out your window darling everything's on fire." She softly smiled and winked at Haymitch. " The war outside our door keeps raging on. Hold on to this lullaby, even when the music's gone. Gone." She thought of her life before this day. With her internal wars, the new rebellion, and how Finnick was her lullaby and Kailani was his. If they did make it out of this arena she would want the capital to think of her song and not be scared. These citizens don't know any better, this is how they were taught to enjoy the world. In riches and the hunger games. They are as innocent as the people in any other district. So she sang the next part for them.

"Just close your eyes, the sun is going down. You'll be alright no one can hurt you now. Come morning light, we will all be safe and sound." Everyone stood and clapped making a few tears escape her eyes. Haymitch stood and hugged Kailani, which she gladly accepted. She then gestured to Haymitch and he bowed.

"Beautiful just beautiful."Caesar said, wiping his own tears.

"Thank you everyone for listening. I hope you remember my song and live a happy life. It was made for you. Everyone in the capital and  in the districts. May the moon forgive us."

She then kissed Caesar on the cheek and went to join her fellow tributes on the high up levels. Next was Finnick. He had walked out wiping away a stray tear before walking out with a smirk. The fans screamed his name and fainted at the sight of him making Caesar chuckle.

"Finnick! As handsome as ever. On behalf of the whole world I would like to thank you for teaching that beautiful woman how to speak English. How did you do it?" Caesar laughed.

"It wasn't easy but she was a fast learner and we practiced almost everyday. Eventually she got it." Finnick winked at Kailani.

"Well again thank you. Now I've heard that you have a message for someone. A special someone." The host emphasized and citizens gasped, some fan-girled, but Kailani just smiled.

"My love, you have my heart. And-and if I die in that arena... my last thought will be of your lips." He stared longingly at the audience and cameras before running up the stairs to Kailani.

"Hm stealing my words now?" She smirked teasingly.

"And your heart."
