Healing Her Wounds

Your POV

I wiped the water from my face with the towel. I tried to understand what it was I was feeling right now... I know I have been out of Hawkins lab for a few days. But finally washing away all that pain, and blood I was covered in. That made me feel... Human, it felt like for the first time in my life... I was free.

The wound on my forehead still hadn't stopped bleeding, I didn't know what to do. I quickly got dressed and walked out to the boys. They all stopped what the were doing and looked me over.

"Wow..." I heard Dustin whisper. I smiled gently at him, I slowly approached him and the others. They had all sat on the floor in a circle, I sat next to Dustin and tried to speak.

"M-mike?" I whispered.

"Yeah Y/n?" He asked.

"My heads still bleeding... I don't know what to do."

"Oh, uh I'll go grab the first-aid kit." Mike hastily ran up the stairs and soon returned with a small red bag. "Here, uh Dustin. Take Six to the couch and help her." Dustin smiled at me, he then took my hand and led me to the... Couch? I think is what Mike said. I watch Dustin pull out a small bottle that said "Rubbing Alcohol" and a cotton ball. He poured the liquid onto the cotton ball.

"Okay... This might sting a little." He warned. "You ready?" I nodded my head, "You can squeeze my hand if it hurts too much, okay?" I smiled and shook my head. He placed his hand on mine and smiled. "Okay..." He began to dab the cotton ball on my cut.

Dustin's POV

As I dabbed the cotton ball on her forehead, I watched her wince at the pain. She quickly shut her eyes and kept them tight. I grabbed a new cotton ball and started to clean the cut again. She began to squeeze my hand tighter, and tighter. I bit my lip and smiled. Once I had finished I I quickly grabbed a band-aid and placed it on her cut.

"All done..." I said pushing a strand of hair behind her ear. She opened her eyes and smiled. I quickly glanced at her lips and then went straight back to her eyes. She must have noticed because I watched her cheeks turn a rosy red.

"Hey, you guys wanna watch a movie?" Mike said with a mouth full of Pringles.

"What's movie?" Six asked looking to me.

"Oh, it's not "a movie". Basically, it's a video telling a story about someone or something."

"Oh..." She said nodding.

"Do you have any idea what that means?" I asked laughing. She began to giggle and shake her head 'no'. "Okay, I'll show you..."

We decided on watching a new movie Mike's mom had just rented called 'Ghostbusters'. We put the movie in and all sat smushed together on the couch. Will was on my right, and Six was pushed into my side. I put my arm around her shoulders. She turned her head, and looked me in the eyes, she quickly began to blush.

Throughout the whole movie, I couldn't focus. I was too busy watching Y/n. She had become extremely invested in the movie. In the beginning, she was startled and burrowed her head in my shoulder. After she had become comfortable again, she giggles throughout the rest of the movie. She couldn't help herself, she was happy... Which I think she hadn't been in years.

Time Skip >> End of the movie (Your POV)

At the end of the... Movie? I don't know. Dustin, Will, Lucas had fallen asleep, and now it was just Mike and I.

"Mike?" I whispered.

"Yeah Y/n?" He said turning his head, I tried to keep eye contact as long as possible.

"Who's Eleven?" Mike's eyes had turned sad.

"Who told you about her?" He said breaking his eyes away.

"Your heart is broken, it's crying to me..." I said retrieving his focus. His eyes began to well up in tears.

Mike spent a vast amount of time explaining to me what happened to her. What she was like, what she could do, and how she disappeared... After he explained, it all made perfect sense. Why they hadn't been surprised to discover where I came from, why Dustin brought me here.

"y/n?" Mike said wiping away a tear.

"Hm?" I said turning my attention to him.

"How do you do that?" He asked.

"I have a wide variety of powers. Much like Eleven did." I smiled.

"What exactly are your powers?"

"I have the ability to feel your strongest emotions and see what causes them. Lucas' strongest emotion was love, you guys made that his strongest emotion. You're the reason he feels certain things..." I said smiling.

"What about Will?" Mike asked with curiosity written all over his face. I figured he would be curious to know...

"I don't know... Will has something on his mind that isn't an emotion. It's something that's blocking him from feeling his emotions."

"Well, what about me?" Mike, was a very special case. He could feel things most teenage boys couldn't...

"You fell in love at a young age, and when we feel love... We start craving it, but you started to crave something more than love. Something in it's purest form. I think Eleven might have unlocked something beautiful..." Mike smiled, he was for a moment not heartbroken. "Anyway, I have other powers too..."

"Like what?!" He said excitedly.

"I can influence emotions, make you see things, and I make the things I make you see real..."

"So you're saying if you wanted me to see something I'd see it?" I nodded.

"Like this..."

Mike's POV

For a second my mind went blank, nothing was there.

"Open your eyes..." Y/n whispered. I slowly opened my eyes, all around the room was covered in vines and flowers. The ground had become soil and grass. The ceiling wasn't a ceiling it was the dark, star-filled sky and behind was a clear, stream of water...

"Oh my god..." I whispered staring all around the room. Six slowly picked up a flower and placed it in my hand. "Is it real?" She giggled.

"No, but I can make it real." She closed her eyes, the basement had returned to its original state, but in my hand stayed the single flower, "That's a Snowdrop flower... It won't die until I do." She smiled. "Part of my gift is as long as I am alive, and can keep it going... It'll be there forever."

"Wow..." I mumbled. "That's an amazing gift."
