Your POV

After Dustin and I had successfully made it to his room, he left me alone sitting on his bed and began to search his house.

"Hey Y/n, you can come out of the room now." He said pushing the door open. "No one's home, they won't be till late. My mom, she left me this." Dustin then handed me a piece of paper.

Dusty,

Went out with your father. Won't be back till around midnight. Do not stay up late!! XOXO. - Mom <3

"Xoxo?" I asked completely at a loss.

"Oh, it means hugs and kisses." He replied giggling. Still, I had no clue what that meant. I could understand some of the words, but one caught my attention.

"Kisses?" I asked, "What's that?" His eyes widened. He seemed shocked that I didn't know what that was.

"Y-You don't know?" He mumbled. My cheeks turned hot, I had obviously hit an important subject. I shook my head 'no' and awaited his reply. "Wow. Um, okay well a kiss is something..." He seemed to be at a loss also. "Oh, um remember in the movie when they leaned in and touched lips?" I nodded. "Okay, well that's a kiss. It's something that you do when you really like or love someone."

"Oh," I said, I had begun to understand. "Have you kissed anyone?" I replied. Dustin's cheeks had become a dark red, and his eyes widened. His toothless smiled showed.

"Besides my mom, um no..." He laughed. I began to smile. Dustin was a sweetheart, he always made me feel better. Whether it was wiping away my tears or just showing off his cute toothless smile. He made me feel at home...

Time Skip >> Dustin's POV

After I help Six settle in, she began to wander the house. She explored each room, she was fascinated.

"This is the living room," I said, as she looked around. She suddenly pointed to something startled. His finger shook.

"What's that?" She asked with a worried look.

"Oh, this is my TV." Her face didn't ease, she still sat confused and startled. I quickly offered her my hand. She gently placed her's in my own. Slowly we approached the TV, I press the button turning it on, she jumped. She was taken aback, "Don't you remember? We watched a movie on Mike's TV yesterday." She nodded her head, still obviously startled.

"This one is different..." She whispered placing her hand on the screen.

"Yeah," I replied. "His TV is like 22 inches! Mine is only 14..." I said. "Hey! I have an idea?" She looked back at me, "Do you want some food?" Her face began to light up, I wasn't surprised that she was so excited. She hadn't eaten anything the whole time we were at Mike's house. I don't know how long it had been since she had food. Occasionally I saw her nibble at scraps we had brought her. But a real meal? I don't think that she's ever even had one.

God knows that awful place would save what they could. "Okay..." I said opening the fridge. "Um. You can have whatever you like." She seemed uncertain. Suddenly a thought popped in my head. "Wait here," I said excitedly. She smiled, quickly I ran to the pantry and grabbed all I could. I then ran by to Six, with arms full.

"What's that?" She said staring at the container.

"Chocolate pudding!" I announced, "This is my all time favorite food." She looked at me as if I had lost my mind.

"What's pud-ding?" She stuttered.

"It's pudding, P U D D I N G. It's this flavored slime you eat with a spoon." She looked at me blankly, with wide eyes. "Here, try some," I said smiling. Slowly she picked up the can and began to pull off the tab. "Take this..." I handed her a spoon. She looked at the contents in the can, and then took a small portion on her spoon. She gave a slight pause, then she put the spoon in her mouth... Her face lit up. She started to smile and began to shovel another spoonful in her mouth.

After Six had finished eating. We went to my room and began to talk.

"So, uh. How'd you like the pudding?" I asked jokingly she obviously enjoyed herself very much.

"It was... uh?" She stumbled over her own words.

"Yummy?" I asked. She giggled and nodded her head.

"Mental," I replied. Slowly she began to stare into my eyes, keeping full contact.

"Cleidocranial dysplasia." She whispered.

"W-What about it?" I replied looking down at my hands.

"What does it do?" She asked taking hold of my hand. I smiled slightly...

"My bones grow at a slower rate than most peoples, and I was born with no collarbone. Plus it affects the growth of my teeth. That's why I have a lisp and no teeth... I'm pretty open about it, but a lot of people think I'm weird."

"I think it's interesting." She whispered again.

"Really?" I asked looking at her. She nodded and began to smile. "Wanna see something else?" Again she nodded. "Okay." I removed my jacket, pulled my arms to the front of me and jerked them forward. Suddenly...

*POP*

She jumped back startled. Quickly her smile returned to her face.

"That's amazing." She said placing her hand on my shoulder and began to caress my collar with her thumb. She had begun to feel around for a collarbone, but of course, she found nothing. She looked at me in awe. "It's like you're gifted." She smiled.

"Says the girl with actual superpowers." I laughed. She bit her lip.

"My turn." She giggled. "What's something you really want?"

"My X-men 134! I gave it to Will when he got out of the hospital. Which totally blows, that one was my favorite." I laughed.

"Close your eyes." She smiled. I slowly shut my eyes; for a moment my mind went blank. "Open them." I heard her whisper, I began to open my eyes. She glanced down, gesturing me to look at my lap.

"Woah!" I shouted. In my lap sat the comic book. I picked up the book and began to look through the pages. "Wow..." I looked back to Y/n and smiled. "That's amazing. Can you do that with everything?" She shook her head.

"Not everything, certain things require certain amounts of power. If I give too much, I'll begin to bleed from my nose and my ears. That's a mild cost, I've never tried anything more than that. I don't want to know what will happen if I give some giant." I nodded.

"That's still pretty amazing," I said smiling.

"Wanna see something some else?"

"Of course," I laughed. Again my mind went blank for a moment and I opened my eyes. The entire scenery had changed.

We were in the ravine where we had met. Except we were on a picnic blanket, and all around us flowers had bloomed and I could see the soft breeze blowing in Y/n's hair, she smiled. Sunshine glistened in her h/c hair. Her e/c eyes were so deep, you could get lost in them. She was so beautiful, I was falling in love... Whether I want to or not. When I was with her, I always felt something. "How did you do that?" I asked.

"It's not real..." She said placing her hand in mine hand. "If it was you'd be able to feel my touch."

"Can you feel mine?" I replied placing my hand on her cheek. She shook her head, this was it. This was the moment. Slowly I began to lean in, closing my eyes. I could feel her cheeks brush against mine. This was real...

I had barely begun to feel her lips. Suddenly I opened my eyes. We were back in my bedroom. She had quit projecting the image. I had realized I had paused moments away from her lips. I had begun to lean in again...

A/N: Hey, I'm sorry for the cliffhanger. I had to build you guys up. Lol, I will post as soon as possible. <3 :D
