Dustin's POV

"What are you guys doing here?" I said still groggy and half asleep.

"We snuck out to see you," Lucas said still poking my face. I swatted his hand away.

"Why?"

"Because you're worrying us!" Mike said joining the conversation. Oh no, I thought. This was it... They all knew I quit taking the medication. I'm so screwed.

"Dustin, what's going on? Why won't you take the medication?" Will asked pushing through Mike and Lucas. I sighed.

"The medicine makes me have these..."

"These what?" Lucas puzzled.

"These nightmares..." I mumbled. Their eyes went wide.

"What kind of nightmares?" Mike asked.

"I wake up in this place, and it's dark and cold... I never where I'm going, but this voice whispers my name, and I follow it then it shows me things that happened there." It had been happening for days, the first time it happened was when they took me to the hospital, but they got worse from then on. Darker, and more realistic.

"Where do you think you go?" Will interjected.

"I think it might be Hawkins lab..." Six immediately walked towards me, she was pale and looked like she had just seen the most horrific thing ever.

"What have you seen?" She asked numbly.

"I-I don't remember..." I lied, she could see through it. I hated lying to her, but I couldn't tell her I what I saw... I'd break her heart. She said nothing he just down and left the room.

"Come on man. What'd you see?"Mike asked breaking the silence.

"I just said! I didn't see anything..."

"You can't lie to us, we know you too well!" Lucas joined.

"Son of a bitch." I muttered, "You can't tell Six."

"Can't tell Six what?" Will exclaimed.

"When I was in Hawkins lab... I saw a bunch of memories. They were about her and her mother."

"What!" They yelled simultaneously.

"HUSH!" I demanded.

"How do you know it was her?"

"What did her mother look like?"

"Was there a Demogorgon there?" They all bombarded me with questions. I couldn't make out who was who anymore. All their voices blurred together.

"Guys!" I shouted they all quieted. "I know it was her."

Your POV

As I left the room I felt tears fall down my face. I hadn't thought about that place in days, it was like I had almost forgotten. I hastily tried to find a place where I could calm down, I had no idea where to go, so I sat against a wall in the cafeteria and hid my face in my hands, sobbing.

"y/n?" I heard a voice say. I looked up to find Jonathan looking at me completely baffled. Quickly I wiped the tears away from my face and tried to speak.

"Oh, h-hi Jonathan..." I stuttered.

"What's wrong?" He asked sitting down next to me.

"N-Nothing." I still stumbled and just couldn't find my words.

"y/n... Please, tell me what's wrong?" He replied staring at me. Tears began to stream down my face again

"I-I'm so scared."

"Why?" I stayed silent, and tried to keep from bawling too much. " y/n, I wanna help."

"Why!" I yelled trying to discourage him. He stared blankly, he showed zero signs of being demoralized.

"Because you've become like a little sister to me, and you don't let your family go at this kind of thing alone..." He said placing his arm around my shoulders and pulling me in for a hug. I began to sob all over his jean jacket. "What's wrong?" He mumbled.

"It's Dustin..." I replied. "He's been dreaming about Hawkins lab."

"What about it?" He asked.

"I don't know, but all I know is nothing good comes from that place. Nothing!" I whined.

"Can I help?" He asked squeezing me tighter.

"I don't know... I just feel like I can't help him, no matter how hard I try!"

"It's okay..." He said hushing me, " I promise, we'll be okay." He grabbed my hand. It was true, Jonathan had become like my big brother, I could count on him for anything. When I told Joyce I loved her, I meant it. This whole family had become apart of me, they were one of the best things about being away from that godforsaken place. We sat and he continued to console me for over a half hour.

Will's POV

Dustin explained all the things he had seen over the days. It was unbelievable, the fact that he watched y/n be ripped from her mother's hands. The torture she endured... For all those years. I almost cried at the thought of them finding her again. She was my family now, I would do anything for her.

"You have to tell her!" I demanded.

"I can't!" Dustin exclaimed.

"You need too! This is her life, you have no right keeping this kind of thing from her." Mike said backing me up.

"Guys! You might wanna shut up!" Lucas yelled we all turned our attention to him. He stood pointing at the door. In the door, way stood Y/n and Jonathan. Y/n had torn down her face, and Jonathan was wearing tear covered jacket.

"What's going on?" y/n muttered walking toward us. Dustin sat stunned, he looked terrified.

"Guys... I think we should give them some privacy." Jonathan said gesturing us to leave. One by one we left, Mike exited first and behind him went Lucas and I. Jonathan shut the door, and I took one more glance at them before we walked away.

"I hope she doesn't kill him..." Lucas muttered.

"What?" Jonathan asked completely lost.

"It's a long story..." I replied.
