***Jacob's POV ***
"Rachel, I'm sorry," I yelled once I got to Rachel's house. I wasn't that far behind her, I saw her slam her door and it shook the whole house. I put my head on my forehead and shook my head to myself in disgust.
"Please," I whispered. I opened Rachel's door and I heard crying upstairs. I ran upstairs.
"Rachel I'm sorry," I burst open her bedroom door and she gave me a death glare.
"Get OUT!" She said after a few minutes. Rachel threw a pillow at me. Already, she looked different. Bags under her eyes and everything.
I do as I was told and I went home. I didn't want her to be any more mad at me.
*** Rachel's POV ***
Wait... he just left?
Doesn't he know that whenever a girl says to leave, they don't actually want the guy to leave but the girl wants the guy to comfort her? Apparently he doesn't know that. He needs to watch more romantic movies.
I decided to stop crying and treat myself. Our local mall is really close from here, so I'd decided that I was going to go to the mall by myself and have some alone time.
I usually hang out at the library in the mall because there's books and there's a mini coffee place which is actually really good.
     I text my mom.
Me- hey Mom, is it okay if I go to the mall?
Mom- sure just be back by 7:00 at the latest.
I looked at the time. 4:56. She was giving me a couple of hours to go the mall? That's a while.
Me- ok
Mom- ok
I wanted to look cute, just because. I wore a black mini dress with white sandals. Creativity level on point.
I grabbed my bag and walked out the door. Then I remembered, Jacob's still home, so I kind of sped up my walking a bit because I didn't want him to see me or know where I was going.
Once I arrived at the mall, I headed to the book store. Got to love that place.
I picked up a book called Alice in Wonderland High, which was based off of Alice in Wonderland ( obviously ) so I decided to buy it only because I knew I'd like it.
Other than that, I didn't really see any other books. Meaning that I had pretty much read all of the books they had and they obviously hadn't restocked.
I also wanted to go to the coffee place, because well, why not. It's called 'Expresso Express' which is kind of convenient but I guess people are cool these days.
"May I have a Tall Caramel Latte? With extra whipped cream, please." I told the lady. I wanted extra whipped cream only because well, why not.
She nodded at me and began to make my drink. In the corner of my eye, I spot Silestia.
"Hey!" I say, hugging her. I can feel her smile.
"Hiii!" She laughs, pulling away from the hug.
"This is what, the second time we've run into each other at the mall?" I smiled. She nodded.
"Hi, can I have a salted butternut frappe with extra whipped cream?" Silestia asks. The lady looked at me, as well, because I had just ordered extra whipped cream. But she smiled and made it.
She handed me my drink, and the total came to exactly $6. I handed her my money and said goodbye to Silestia.
"See you Monday!" She said. I just nodded and went on with my life.
I ended up spending so much money and I don't even know half the things I bought.
I mean, I know I bought this really cute raglan striped shirt, but that's all I remember. I think I bought boots, too?? I don't know.
Once I got home, I crashed on my bed, tired of shopping. I pressed the home screen on my phone, and saw it was only 6:23.
Not bad for timing, Rachel.  Not bad.

Did that consider as a cliffhanger? Idk. But if you're wondering why Silestia hasn't really been in the book lately, don't worry. She'll have her place. 😏
Have a super day/night 💦😉
