Chapter 42

     ***Rachel's POV ***
     "That was so much fun!" Loren squealed. I rolled my eyes.
"Yeah, well it was technically supposed to be for Jacob's birthday but I kind of forgot."
     "Uhh, dude, it's June." Mark clears his throat.
     "Yeah..." I trailed off. "Sorry, Jacob."
     Jacob playfully rolls his eyes before pulling me into a tight hug.
"It's kind of getting dark," Mark said. "We should probably go."

     Mark and Loren decided to go back to their houses, leaving Jacob and I alone together. We were walking to his house.
     "I love you," he puts his arm around me.
     "I love you too."
     We hear a rattling in the bushes and we shoot each other a look.
     "What was that?" I ask Jacob. He pulls me closer.
     "I don't know, babe. We're almost home."
     And it was true. Our houses were on the next street.
     I hear more rattling in the bushes. I turn around to see a man with a large knife, black hoodie and white mask. And he was coming for us. Holy crap.
     "Um, J-Jacob!" I almost yell and he turns around. When he turns to face me, Jacob looks me dead in the eye.
     "Run," he says to me. Jacob grabs my hand and we begin running down the street. I looked back a few times to see if the guy was coming, and he was.
     "Open the door open the door!" I whisper-shout when we reached Jacob's house. He opened it, and we slammed the door shut.
     "Oh my God," he whispered. I began to cry and look at his face. He pulls me into a tight hug.
     "Here, let's go upstairs." He tries to comfort me. I nod.
     Once were upstairs, he closes his door behind him. He goes into his closet.
     "Here," Jacob says, throwing me a pile of clothes.
     "What's this for?" I ask, throwing myself onto the bed.
     "Well, you might be here for a while."

I know I know this chapter sucked but I needed to update. I'll try to update tomorrow 💓 + omg with all of that drama with that girl being disrespectful and turning her head when Jacob was going to kiss her cheek was so uncalled for. Also all of the drama with Allie ( Jacob's old friend from vine ) is getting out of hand ya'll need to chill 😂 -Jane
