     *** Jacob's POV ***
I woke up, to see Rachel in my arms. God, how I love her.
     My mom had texted me.
Mom- hey honey are you at Rachel's?
Me- yeah
Mom- okay. Tell her that breakfast is ready whenever you guys get up.
Me- okay 💓
Mom-
I had began to think if my mom would be okay with Rachel and I dating. I mean... she likes Rachel.
"Hey babe," Rachel says with her raspy morning voice. I feel her eyelashes flutter on my chest, and then she looks up at me revealing her beautiful face.
"Hey honey." I felt weird calling her that, it's just like, we're not dating or anything.
I feel her smile.
"I'm hungry," she complains. We both start quietly laughing.
"My mom made breakfast for us at my house," I told her and she nodded. I picked her up, bridal style, and carried her to my house.
"My shoes!" She yelled. I rolled my eyes.
"Don't worry, my mom won't care."
I put her inside of my house and my mom gave a worried look.
"Did she like.... die or something?" Mom started laughing and I just rolled my eyes once again.
"What's for breakfast?" Rachel asked, getting up from the floor.
"Eggs and bacon with chocolate chip pancakes. Unless you want something different,"
"I looove chocolate chip pancakes!" Rachel ran over to the table and sat down. My mom fixed her a plate, along with herself, and obviously me too.
"What'd you two do last night? It must of been tiring, whatever you were doing."
Yeah, because making out and cuddling with someone you love is so tiring.
"We actually played bingo, candy land and other games. It was pretty fun! And then we went on our phones until we fell asleep." I lied. Rachel just looked at me in the eye as a thank you and I smiled.
"Oh, cool! Who won?"
Of course mom. Of course you had to ask.
"Rachel, actually,"
"Jacob likes to think that he won," Rachel interrupted, with food in her mouth.
Mom just nodded and began to finish her meal. When she was done, Rachel and I glanced at each other.
     "Great save," Rachel whispered.
"Thanks," I whispered back. "I want to tell her eventually, though."
     "Me too."
Before Rachel and I could say anymore, mom sat back down. We both shot her a look in confusion.
"I thought it would be rude if I left while you two were still eating," she explained. I think she might've been onto us.
When we were finished eating, my mom wanted us to go back to Rachel's house because she had to clean our house. So Rachel and I walked to her house.
"I think your mom might be onto us," Rachel explained.
     "Yeah." I replied.
"Let's just forget about it, okay?"
"What do you mean?" I shot her a look.
"Maybe it was a mistake," she said. My eyebrows furrowed.
"What do you mean, 'mistake'? It wasn't a mistake, it was expressing feelings for each other!"
Rachel just nodded her head in disappointment and walked back to her house without me. I stormed into mine, and my mom gave me a look, but I ignored her and went to my room.
     *** Rachel's POV ***
I just don't want things to be ruined between Jacob and I, so I decided that we should've just forgotten about the moment and kept our friendship bond.
But then I realized,we could've been more than friends without a problem.
     I screwed up.
     Again.

well then -Jane
