After his announcement, silence returned to the corridor, but I knew this was just to make us more anxious.

"We have to get out of here," I tried to say it calmly but hell my fear could even be heard by the dead.

"Miss, don't be afraid I will protect you," He looked at me smiling, but I was just like, who the hell do you think you are?

"I don't need your protection, thank you very much!" I sighed, rolling my eyes.

"Forgive me, I know that, you may not need protection normally, but the things we will face out there won't be humans. They will try to kill us, plus he laid out traps so we have to be careful."

Thinking of it, he is right, I couldn't fight these creatures. I was just lucky against the slit wife, but I presume now he will unleash something else against us. I nodded in acceptance that I will let him go out first, although I asked myself if I could trust him.

"You don't know if you can trust me isn't it, Miss?" turning around and looking into my eyes, his grey eyes seemed to read my internal monologue.

"Can you stop calling me, Miss, so weird," creepy guy and my only help, great day.

"Forgive me for being a gentleman." If he didn't look young I would think he would be a very old man.

"Fine, and yes, I don't know if I should put my trust in you." We were still glaring at each other without blinking.

"Don't trust me if you don't want, but I am the least dangerous thing you will meet in this building."

He is right, if he wanted to kill me he would have done that immediately. I just didn't like to feel weak and powerless, but my reaction is irrational though. I nodded and he opened the door.

"Everything seems fine, here we go to the Asylum of the damned!" He exclaimed with too much enthusiasm for my taste.

After leaving the room, we saw that the lights changed, the white light turned into glowing red, blue, yellow and green everywhere. I felt like there was a party. We continued to move carefully, I always looked behind me to alert him if something came. Carefully taking steps in this corridor, I heard some cracking sounds, the next thing I know we were falling.

"Shit," I yelled in panic, trying to protect my face from being smashed by the floor.

I stood up in agony, my skin was scratched from the fall. I looked up and saw that the upper floor broke into pieces. The dust was setting down. I felt a cold hand touching me, and out of breath John asked me, "Miss, are you okay?"

"Yeah, I am okay, thanks," Actually, I wasn't, my body was on fire, landing over the rubble, not the best of ideas.

Again, I sensed his hands around me pushing me in the opposite direction, like a feather. I remember something about a feather, but what is it. I heard sounds of pain and looked up. I could perceive John fighting something with five white eyes.

These creatures can't look like regular humans? Just a thought of mine in impending doom.

John's eyes changed into a bright red, he was furious his teeth were visible. The monster charged against John, stopping midway as the loudspeaker made a sound.

"So, my dears, you encountered the first innocent trap?" Grr, how I hate this voice, so did my body.

"Now, we will move onto the first creature, one of my finest acquisitions, called Aswang or more precise a ghoul he adores little children, but today he is not here to eat." He seemed quite over the top.

His voice was delighted to explain us all of this, so I stood up and tried to run in the opposite direction of the monster, it appeared in front of me, its eyes didn't move but his snakelike tongue licking my face. So disgusting, I pulled my face away, the creature opened its mouth in disapproval showing me all those spiky teeth. I tried to maintain calm, easier said than done.
