...Alex POV...
I ran left, right and straight, but this seemed like a non-ending labyrinth. This dress doesn't help either. All the corridors seemed the same. Grim with yellow lights going on and off. I ran until I heard that no one was following me. Why isn't anyone following me?
I stopped close to a partially open door. I entered, closing the door behind me. This room was big, painted white with metal tables in the middle. Needles, tubes and operation knives laying on a table in the right corner. The lamps went off and on with their withe light blinding me. A chair was on the left, I sat down.
My breathing was heavy as if I run a marathon. Asking myself a thousand questions as to why all this is happening. My nose was running, because of my tears. I tried to stop them from coming, but I couldn't. I put my feet close to my body and let it all out.
I just understood now that the entire life I lived is gone. I won't ever be able to go back. I actually might lose everything and everyone. Trying to control myself I fell my body shivering. I looked towards the entrance hoping that this would be a dream. The moment this door opens everything will go back to normal.
This is just wishful thinking Alexandra, stop this bullshit, mentally slapping me. Drying my tears with my arms I stood up and moved towards the door. I will find my brother and get out of here, no one will stop me. I will survive and get my life back.
I was confident and opened the door, feeling a light touch around my shoulder. I turned around and saw it, the smoke creature.
His clear blue eyes watching me without emotion. I fought back to get out of his grip.
"No, oh hell no, I have had enough, let me go, let me go!" adrenaline ran through me, I was moving my arms and legs like a crazy woman. I felt a moment his grip loosen. I took this chance. I looked back and saw him not moving nor fighting back. He slowly pointed down next to him.
My eyes widened in shock, under him was, was my body. It was not moving completely still.
"What the fuck did you do?" I frantically touched my hair, my eyes completely open in disbelief.
His telepathy was ringing in my head as if someone was throwing stones at me. " This will make you experience the pain of all of them. Your father asked me to give back your memories earlier than I expected. He now wants you to feel everyone's pain, the ones that were the test subjects in all those years. He thinks this might help you tap into your power." His voice was different from before, he didn't have any emotion, nor empathy. Something seemed off. He seemed different.
He moved his smoke like hand in the air, yellow sparks appeared and disappeared behind me. A wave of heat passed through me, surrounding the environment. I saw yellow light come from behind.
Seconds later I felt a wave of air coming from behind again. A black portal took over the yellow one. The yellow one was losing ground as fire without oxygen. The fight between the colours was beautiful and majestic. The black colour surrounded me and I was pushed into it.
I was falling through it into a dark room only lighten by a little blue flame. I was levitating over the ground until the pull let go of me. I was gently put on the ground. I looked around and saw the little blue flame come towards me.
It was swirling around me as if it wanted me to follow it. It moved and I followed without asking questions. I walked without end, I couldn't see more than what the little flame gave light. I went close to it to be able to see something on the wall.
