...POV John...
Werewolves surrounded us. Their yellow eyes meant that their alpha wasn't here. Strangely enough, they weren't attacking. I looked towards Senja who had potions in her hand, ready to fight.
"Kayla behind you," I screamed to warn her.
A wolf charged against her. He put his long, thin black arm around her neck squeezing it. Kayla hit him on his stomach. He retracted. Kayla used that moment to put her hands around his head. He started to scream and crawl on the ground, his long claws scratching his head to the point of bleeding, seconds later it exploded into bits. Kayla was full of blood and parts of the werewolf. She looked disgusted at this sight. The rest of the wolves howled saddened.
Another one ran towards me, his mouth opened ready to tear me to pieces before reaching me his arms were frozen. He fell to the ground wailing. I looked behind me and saw Senja with one arm up. Senja with one rapid move made his arms crumbled into parts. The howl was so screeching that it almost made our ears bleed.
"You ok?" Senja signed, worried.
I nodded. I saw as one of her hair locks turned black. Shit, Senja shouldn't use her power. I signed to Senja only to use her potions. She agreed, looking at her lock, with depressing eyes. Why aren't they all attacking us what are they all waiting for? I started to smell blood from the library.
"Blood, it's Alex, shit they got her," Kayla gasped
Senja knew what we meant, she moved towards the library door to reopen it with her counterspell.
Before she had time to finish, the rest of the werewolves came running against us, throwing us three against the wall, which broke under our weight. All three of us were in pain, but Senja still had a human body we had to protect her from close attacks. Kayla and I put us in front of Senja.
"Well, I think, we have to invite them to dance."
"Kayla, are you joking now?" I stared at her in disbelief.
"I am panicking enough John, so let me calm myself down with stupid jokes," I looked at her confused.
Peeking towards the door, there were three large grey wolves in front of it preventing the passage. We had to be fast because Senja can heal Alex until one point and not more.
"So Wolfie's, do you want to fight or will you stand there forever gazing at us," Kayla said sarcastically and smiling.
"If they kill us, I am going to kill you, Kayla."
One of the eight charged against Kayla trying to scratch her. Yet she was faster. She jumped and kicked the werewolf's neck, which made a cracking sound. She pushed him into the ground with her foot. Her strength made the wooden floor break. The others howled again, seeing another one of their fall.
The eyes became yellower and they all came towards us. Three against Kayla, two against me and the last two surrounded Senja.
One of them tried to take me from behind, but he missed. I wanted to attack but I felt a horrible pain in my back the other werewolf scratched it shredding my shirt. I fell to the ground, the smaller one took my arm and turned it around breaking it. The pain was unbearable.
Aargh!" I yelled.
Kayla looked furious against the wolves. She forced her way using her power of combustion two of the five wolves exploded partially. I sensed Kayla being at her limit, her breathing was getting slower and her heart was stopping to pump blood. She hadn't drunk enough for a fight. The rest of their parts fell on the ground. They all looked at her and leapt towards her. They hold her and the strongest one held her neck, proceeding to break it.
"John, please use it!" she was out of breath and in panic.
I was conflicted, I cannot bring myself to use it again, but I can't let them kill her, my only family. I saw as she was struggling with all her strength to not let them break her neck. My hatred started to become apparent, my eyes turned to blood red. Lifting my arms as acid came out of them.
They let go of her at the touch of it. They were howling in pain and melting away. This sensation, such a long time I didn't feel it. I love this, the feeling of power that surged through me as their screams sounded like a beautiful song to my ears. They all seemed terrified, I attacked the rest of them with it.
"John, calm down!" I looked at her, her face was down, water dripping to the ground.
"I won't, this is delicious," Her face radically changed from sorrow to fright.
Good, she is smart to not disturb me or I will kill her too. All their body parts fell to the ground, slowly melting away. Such a delicious sight of the dead.
"Forgive me for this," she said calmly. I felt a strong push on my chest. I was thrown against the ground. It brought me back to my senses.
"I am so sorry Kayla," I said, looking down and crying. Pathetic, isn't it a vampire crying.
"You don't have to apologise, I know this isn't something you can control," she replied, putting a hand under my chin raising my head.
"I will always be here to bring you back, I love you big brother," Kayla smiled. I dried my tears and hugged her.
Senja came next to us and pointed outside.
"Shit, more we need to go, now!" I screamed, looking at both of them. Letting go of Kayla I prepared to fight.
This time they weren't just ten but they were over thirty werewolves. We were too weakened by the use of our powers. They came all against us, from every side and took us down.
"So, So, the little vampires lost the battle, ha-ha, or better saying they gave up," I knew this voice, it was Father Thomas. What is a vampire commanding daimons?
"The full moon is almost gone, we need to bring them to the master before the day arrives" one of the wolfs said.
"Yes do that, I will clean this mess up." He said with a dark laughing voice.
"Go now," he commanded them.
I heard him, saying "the masters will be happy about this turn of events."
