"Her screaming and rasping breaths made her so delicious," licking the last drops of blood from my lips.
Hearing steps approaching my chambers, I tossed my pray on the cold floor. Hearing the doorknob move, I turned around to see his indifference towards the scene. His grey eyes seemed to be analysing me. His blond hair waving with each step he took.
"You had a good meal, Thomas?" he said raising his eyebrows.
"Well, my dear Charles the humans you offer are always quite exquisite." My grin stretched into a large smile.
"Glad to hear it, dear old friend." He closed the door behind him and started to move towards the body. He kneeled in front of the whore with her beautiful red dress. Lifting her hair to see her eyes wide open with terror.
"As I see, you still don't use your calm poison?" He moved up, putting a hand over my shoulder. I took it away.
"Don't touch me," repulsed by his display of human emotions, I felt a nauseous feeling in my body.
"So are you ready for...," I couldn't listen to him anymore with his stupid movements à la grandeur, as if he were better than me. Not letting him finish I outright asked him rolling my eyes.
"What do you wish for now?" I moved towards a brown box full of cigars. Opening it, I took one out offering him one which he refused.
I cut the tip of the cigar and light it up. Moving towards my leather couch, I sat down, putting one leg over the other. Slowly moving my cigar into my mouth. I took a good deep breath. My eyes widened and my body fell into the couch making me believe it was a cloud. I could see that he crossed his arms to show me his displeasure at waiting for someone weaker than him. I felt like the most powerful vampire on earth. I took one more deep breath of the cigar and started to talk calmly to him.
"The test went perfectly, she passed it even though I suffered quite some injuries. For a long time, wasn't I injured like this. It is not even completely healed." Rethinking about this event made my spine shiver in absolute adoration of her powers.
He gave a little smile that he tried to hide. Turning around looking at my mirror of truth. "You wish to try it out, Charles?" For decades I've tried everything to make him use it. I want to know everything about this man, his past must be glorious.
"Unfortunately old friend I don't have time for your little games." he stared at me uncrossing his arms and sitting next to me.
"Very comfortable couch, I am glad she passed the test. It means she is finally ready," I knew what he wanted, his gaze moved towards my large collection of human parts in jars.
"You do have weird tastes, Thomas." I could sense is disgust by the way he talked with that high voice.
"You want me to get her very well, but why are you so interested in this particular woman?" I made strong eye contact with him to get pieces of information. It worked to my surprise. I saw him standing up again and moving in front of me.
"She is the solution to our problems, to finally bring peace to this unbalanced world." He was standing there like a king, acting like there were hundreds of people around us.
"You're a terrible liar." His posture changed dramatically into defence, which made me see through his game. There was something more to this girl.
"So you want me to get her, no problem, yet I have no clue where that girl went with my test subject." I took my lighter and lighted my cigar again.
"Wasn't John your lover?" A bark of laughter erupted from him.
"Don't be ridiculous. Yes, we had quite some adventures together be it in bed or killing, but you do know I cannot love anything nor anyone."
"I do know that, but," I put my finger in front of my mouth so he would understand to shut up.
"Where is she? I presume you know Charles."
"Yes, I made two werewolves follow her after the explosion. I also told them to bring her if they could, but..." he stopped suddenly gasping in annoyance, continuing, "she is in Senja's house."
My eyes widened, I inhaled the delight smoke of the cigar and burst out uncontrollably. So the last of the Winter witches is still alive, how delicious! I always wanted one as a test subject.
"Didn't you already had her children as test subjects?" He touched his throat waiting for an answer.
"You mean the two twins? Yes, I had them as test subjects, but they were a large disappointment since they weren't pureblood. So I used them as slaves until someone bought them from me."
"So that is how you stopped having them, I always questioned it. Anyway, take as many werewolves you need to get them all." My large smile stopped and I felt the smoke blocked in my throat.
"You want them all alive? Can't I even kill one?" His kindness isn't natural, what is he up too.
"I need them alive for my plan to work." He raised his voice and I knew I shouldn't ask anything else or my head might fly.
I heard the door opening looking at the guard throwing a small guy on the ground full of blood, he looked up and his green eyes were mesmerizing.
"I see my master, but I thought you didn't need them, to use their powers."
"I don't need to but torturing them, might make her willingly open the portals." There it was his eyes were full of bloodlust. His posture was like a real god.
"Very well, I will be going after this cigar and I do have one favour before leaving. Can I get that boy for some time?"
"Do whatever you want, but I want him alive and in all pieces, are we clear!" His husky voice was serious and dark.
"Fine, fine." They all left and I was alone with this boy.
"So what is your name?" His clear skin made me crave him even with all the scars.
I took out the cloth around his mouth. His teary eyes made my heart race, such a delicious human being. He was full of scars, which meant he fought, what a great boy, full of foolish courage. However, now he seemed lost. His green eyes were looking at me full of desperation.
"I asked you a question, my dear boy, please answer." I made him stand up and lord he is quite small. His long black hair made his face seem puffier. His cheeks were quite red. Putting my hand on his heart, I felt it beating. This sensation is the most inspiring thing on earth.
"You're cold," I barely could hear him. He bowed his head, seeming to understand that he is no match against me. A quiet word came out if his mouth.
"Nick."
"Nick, what a sweet name."
"Mine is Father Thomas." I smiled at him.
His body was a lump and he smelled like trash. Even with that, I touched him slowly. Starting with his cheek. He pulled away. I love when they fight, so I put my hand around his throat. He knew what was going to happen so he turned his face to the other side. I didn't care. I could hear his quiet sobbing, but I didn't stop touching him.
From his lips came a whisper," I know who that man is." I pulled back and looked at him. Was he talking about Charles?
"What? You mean you know who Charles is?" I was breathing heavily. He proceeded to talk louder." He is my uncle, I recognized him from a picture." I took him by the collar and threw him towards the bathroom.
"Take a shower, afterwards you will tell me more, my toy."
I closed the door and my grin transformed into laughter and thought to myself.
