When text is like this "............" it means they are using sign language. :) I know you shouldn't have two POV in one chapter but if I separate this two the chapters will be very short. Don't worry it is the only one with two POV. :)
POV John
.................
I sensed light caressing my face, the touch of the warm light made me dizzy. My wounds weren't enough healed to resist the sun. I opened my eyes and looked towards the warm yellow light that came from the door. I thought I closed it?
I raised myself up. I could see the scars on my body, those damn spikes almost killed me and then Miss Alexandra made half of the building explode. A shade of white and black surrounded her before compressing together and then the last thing I felt was being thrown away against the surrounding trees.
I hope I can find out who she is before Father Thomas comes back. If he was taunting us instead of killing, there must have been a reason for that. Someone higher than him wanted to test Miss Alexandra. I touched my scars.
"These scars are healing too slowly."I exasperated. I just couldn't understand what had happened?
I put myself back on the bed to sleep, hoping my wounds would heal more. Falling into a big slumber, I could hear my little sister the first time we met.
"Sir Thorn," looking up I saw a black girl around my age next to her mother. She was hiding behind her. Long curly brown hair matching perfectly with her clear marron eyes.
"What, is it Matthews?" my father asked him looking up from his book.
"Your two new slaves arrived, sir," Matthew bowed his head in submission.
"Fabulous, let us see the merchandise, shall we?" My father moved near the two slaves. He touched the mother to see if everything was right and asked her if she spoke English. The mother bowed her head. I could sense her fear and sadness.
"Son," I looked towards him, he slightly moved his palm so I would come closer.
"Father, why do we need more slaves?" I asked doubtful that we needed more.
"Well, your mother needs help with you and your little sister. So that is why we need more," He smiled towards me, continuing talking.
"I hope you also do more than just taking care of my children," my father touched her face and smiled. She understood what he meant looking down although I didn't understand.
That night I heard someone knocking on my father's library door. I should have been sleeping but I couldn't with the heavy rain outside. I stood up and opened my door, carefully moving towards his library. I peeked inside expecting my mother being with my father, but I saw in horror how my father was touching the new woman.
He saw me! Pushing the women away, he ran towards me, I tried to go back to my room, but he caught me, turning me around and slapped me, screaming "Don't tell your mother!"
I opened my eyes again. I sensed a presence next to me.
"Thinking again of the past weren't we John," I heard a calm voice telling me.
I looked to my right and there she was my little sister Kayla, her long curly hair matched her clear brown eyes, still so perfect.
"How do you know, Kayla?" I looked at her suspiciously.
"Just a guess you seemed distressed," she was looking up, but I could see in her eyes that she knew which moment I was thinking of.
She gazed around before looking at me and smiling "You should try to forget that, John. It was over 300 years ago."
