Cath's POV

When I found out I was pregnant, my first thought was that it couldn't be possible. Well, not necessarily impossible, but just unlikely. I'd known many people who were pregnant, but it just seemed so crazy, when the tests came back positive. Before I told Levi last night, I was feeling so many different emotions, and I just kept telling myself that we couldn't do it; that it was too much for us to handle on our own. But before I told him, Levi had sounded so concerned about the way I'd been acting. It was a reminder of how much he really cared about me. After I told him, he just sounded so gentle and caring. He was ecstatic as well. I've never seen him that happy since the day I met him, and that's saying something. He made me believe that we really could raise a baby. That we could be wonderful parents, and that we could have a beautiful family.

Neither me nor Levi have to work today, so he makes me yet another big breakfast. We haven't talked much about the whole thing at all this morning, but I can tell that he's still shocked about it.

"My parents invited us over for dinner tonight," Levi says. "I mean, if you're up to going. If not I understand, and we don't have to go."

"Yeah! That'd be great." I tell him. I think this surprises him. We eat in silence again for a few more minutes.

"Hey Cather, how would you feel about telling my parents?" He says. It takes me a second to figure out what he's talking about. The pregnancy.

"I don't know Levi. I just found out. Don't you think we should go to the doctor first, just to confirm it, before we go off telling everyone?" I ask in response.

"I guess so... can we please please tell them Cather? This will be their first grandchild. I think they should know right away," He begs. "We can tell them we aren't certain yet, but we're pretty sure."

"Okay" I finally give in, with slight hesitation. Levi smiles to himself, making my heart melt all over again.

As I'm getting ready for tonight, I find myself thinking about the first time I met Levi's parents. Our trip there was the first time he ever told me that he loved me. Meeting Mr. and Mrs. Stewart seems like it was so long ago, because I know them so well now. Especially Mrs. Stewart. Since I never really had a mom, I feel like I can go to her for pretty much anything. Although, it wasn't always that way between the two of us.

The first day I met his parents, I remember being so nervous, and just squeezing Levi's hand the whole car ride there.

"You sure you want to do this?" He'd asked.

"Yeah," I'd said, not sure if I'd meant it. "And it's sort of a little late to go back now." I joked.

When we walked up to the front door, I wasn't sure what to do. But when Levi rang the doorbell, I instinctively grabbed his hand.

"It'll be okay sweetheart" he'd said. "I promise."

When his mom answered the door, my first thought was that she looked too sweet to be very strict.

"Hello Levi" she'd said. "It's so good to see you again." He didn't say anything until we got inside.

"Mom, dad, I'd like you to meet Cather. Cather Avery." He'd said, very sincerely.

"Hello Cather." his dad had said, a smile on his face. He stuck out his hand for me to shake.

"Hi," I said shyly, shaking his hand. "You can just call me Cath."

"Oh! We've heard so many wonderful things about you Cath! Levi just adores you. He talks about you all the time." His mom gushed.

"Mooommm." Levi had said, his face turning red.
