Thank you to everyone who has encouraged me to write again. I really appreciate being cheered on while I have had a hard time. Thank you anon2404 for never giving up on me. Thank you to Ripley10 for taking the time out of her birthday to edit this so it would be posted before MY birthday deadline.

Victor POV

We had to hang back after Sang ran into McCoy and it was killing me. From the anxious look on Silas's face, it wasn't making him too happy either.

Doc took her into his and Mr. B's office but Silas held me back from following, nodding over my shoulder. We leaned casually against the wall, I chanced a glance and saw McCoy glaring thoughtfully toward their door. It probably wouldn't help matters for us to go rushing in after her right now.

"Where was she?" Silas burst out making me jump. "One moment she was there, the next she was gone."

"I don't know. I was thinking the same thing a second ago. She is so small... maybe she just got caught in a group we couldn't see and then tripped up?" I ventured.

Silas nodded slowly. "Maybe."

McCoy finally got called out of his contemplation by a counselor needing help with something. I sent off a text to Mr. B "McCoy has been lurking watching for Sang. We can take her if she is ready."

"You can retrieve Miss Sorenson when it is clear."

I show the text to Silas and we head to the office to get her. She's been away from me too long already.

Gabriel POV

I sigh. "Where the fuck are they?"

Kota looks at his watch, North and Nathan keep arm wrestling and Luke leans back trying to get more sun. "Seriously? Am I the only one who is freaking out? I don't know what to do when she's not here."

North nods and I swear Kota looks a little guilty. Luke just says "Yup" and keeps on sunbathing. Fucker.

Kota sits up a little straighter and pulls out his phone. He stands and says, "Hey guys, let's go. We'll meet them at the cars."

Nathan shifts his pack to his back and starts walking before I have even stood. "What's up?"

"McCoy" is all Kota says.

"Fuck, now what?" North thunders.

My sentiments exactly. Maybe high school wasn't going to be as easy as we thought.

We get to the cars just after Sang, Victor and Silas arrived there. They are laughing? I thought we had to leave in a hurry because something happened with McCoy? Silas sends a silent Don't mention it over Sang's shoulder to us.

Sang turns and does a kind of squeal and runs toward us when she sees us coming, so I run for her, but Luke beats me to her and swoops her up spinning her around. She lets out a tiny grunt and he almost drops her he tries to put her down so fast. "I'm so sorry, Sang! I don't know what I was thinking!"

We all converge on her to make sure she is okay.

She goes up to Luke and puts her hand tentatively to his downturned face, "It's okay. It really wasn't that bad. I swear."

He nods grimly and Kota breaks the silence by asking, "So, are we going to my house or Nathan's?"

We decide on Nathan's just so it isn't directly across from Sang's old house. I refused to think of it as her current house. Evil lives there.
