It was Monday, we got up around 5:00am (we wanted to have enough time so we could attend the first day of school) and finished packing and eventually moving out. We are on our way to the new house right now. I was driving again, but I didn't mind. It was peaceful driving, my siblings are asleep in the car, making it nice and quiet.

About an hour later we make it to our house, and since my siblings made me drive three hours twice in two days even though i really didn't mind, I decided to wake them up peacefully. I turned on the radio to some crappy pop song and turned the volume up to like 100. I'm pretty sure the whole neighborhood could hear the blaring music. It wasn't long before everyone shot up, oh, the look on their faces are priceless.

"GOOD MORNING SUNSHINES" I screamed over the music

I had three bitch faces thrown my way only causing me to laugh. Anna who was in front, turned down the music.

"YAAAYY!!! We're here!!" Gabe screamed

I love seeing him happy, I actually just love seeing him. I don't know what he does but when I'm around him he makes me smile and I'm just, happy. All of us grab boxes, carrying at least 3 at a time. When I walked in the new house, the smoke smell was gone, it also looked cleaner, I smiled less work for me. We all picked our rooms, Gabe and I upstairs, and Anna and Luci downstairs. It didn't take long for us to get all the boxes inside, the long and tiring part was unpacking it all, but that was for another day. I went back outside to close the car doors and trunk. I couldn't help but smile when I looked around, there is only three houses next door (one on right, two on the left), and one across the street, not too far away you could see the school, then beyond that was woods, for miles. I heard a few voices coming from the house a few doors down so I look over to my left. What I saw was a football flying towards me, I panicked but I held out my hands and I caught it! I then saw a boy around Gabriel's age run towards me.

"Hey, sorry, I was supposed to 'go long', nice catch by the way!"

I smiled, "Thanks, no worries" I chuckled and gave him back the football and he waved running back to his yard. I waved back smiling.

After closing the doors and trunk I went back inside. My brothers and I are exhausted but to make it easier on everyone we had to go to the first day of a new school. Gabriel is only in freshman year but me and Luci are seniors. Anna graduated almost 4 years ago, lucky her says she isn't going to look for a job today and gets to nap while I try and survive in hell. I never liked school, even though people think I do just because I have good grades.

"Luce, you're driving" I said throwing him the keys.

"nope Castiel" he threw the keys on one of the boxes "we're walking!" he smiled sarcastically.

I sighed and walked out the door with my brothers. It didn't take more than 15 minutes to walk to the school. I looked around, the school was huge! There must have been more than 600 kids that go to this school, there are people just pouring inside the school. Soon, we were part of the crowd. I pushed my way down the halls eventually finding the gym where there is mile long lines. Gabe is right in front of me so I walked him to his freshman line, making sure he makes it to where he needs to go. Now I wait in my line.

I got my schedule and books and started to run around the school looking for my 1st period class. Mr. Williams, Mr. Williams, Mr. Williams I said over and over in my head. The halls were starting to clear out, telling me that the bells were about to ring.

'Dinnggg!!'

I rolled my eyes don't you think you should give a new kid some direction? Just then my eyes planted on a sign that read, 'Mr. Williams' I sighed in relief then walked into the classroom. A few eyes landed on me, making me uncomfortable but most kids were talking since the teacher wasn't even in the room. I sat in the back hoping no one would pay much attention to me, but I thought wrong.

"Hey! I don't think I've seen you before, I'm Charlie"

I smiled "Yeah, I just moved into a new house, today actually! I'm Castiel, but you can call me whatever you want, I tend to get a lot of nicknames." Charlie chuckled

"Alright Cassie, sit by me at lunch, you can meet my friends!" and with that the teacher walked in.

"Okay class, I believe we have a new student here today, Casteel, I think it is"

really? I spoke up, "it's Castiel" I guessed I hadn't realized I was in a bad mood until the teacher glared at me. I raised my eyebrows, Jeez.

My first 4 hours went by pretty fast you could say. All the classes were about the same, rules of the class, expectations, my history teacher even gave the class homework that was due tomorrow! It was pretty much preschool work but I mean, come on, it's the first day of school. I walk into the lunchroom bypassing the food. I never really ate lunch, I don't know, lunch seemed weird to me, having a meal in the middle of the day while you had things to do. I've always thought that way. I saw Charlie and she caught up to me.

"Hi Cassie! My friends are over there. Now you better not be one of those jerks and start flirting with my friends." she said in a teasing tone

I laughed, debating whether I should tell her that I'm gay. I shook it off and sat down next to Charlie with her friends.

"Hey guys, this is Castiel. He's new to this school." she smiled

"Cassie, this is Jo, Bella, Kevin, Benny, and D-" she stopped "Well I was going to say Dean, but he's not here right now" she gave me a welcoming smile.

I nodded my head and said a quick 'hello'. You sat there listening on their conversations, joining in occasionally. A few minutes passed, then someone sat across from me, Charlie stopped mid-sentence and looked over at him smiling.

"Dean, this is Castiel, Cassie this is Dean" Charlie wrapped an arm around me, squeezing my shoulder.

"Novak?"

I furrowed my eyebrows, "Yeah..."

"My little brother's friend was talking about his big brother, Castiel." He smiled "You guys look alike"

I returned the smile good thing Gabe was making friends. I didn't talk much but if I did, I was talking to Dean. He had a way with words which made it fun to talk to him. I was sitting there doodling a picture on my notebook when Gabe came up to me.

"Cas, can I go over Sam's house after school? Pick me up at 10?" Gabe said with pleading puppy dog eyes.

"I'm sorry who?"

Apparently Dean was listening to my conversation and he spoke, "Sammy's my little brother" He had a proud smile on.

"Yeah, I'll let Anna know" Gabe smiled "I'll pick you up at nine" He gave me the 'really' look, but I just laughed. He walked away and went back to his friends.

I turned to Dean who hadn't stopped looking at me from when he spoke. "So where exactly can I pick Gabe up at?"

Dean just laughed, "down the street, you dork" he chuckled.

I tilted my head to the side "Sam was the one with the football, right?" He nodded his head in response still slightly laughing.
