Bella gets into her pajamas as the camp grows quiet. She brushes her hair and teeth and sighs. She feels homesick and wants to talk to someone who wants to listen. Jess and her mom just don't seem right. She steps outside and breathes deeply. The girls she shares her cabin with have boyfriends and have snuck off to their cabin.

"Im such a loser," Bella thinks to herself.

She sits on the porch swing and lets the cool Summer night's breeze blow her hair. The smell of the fresh lake fills her noise and the faint music occupies her ears. Music? She doesn't know where its coming from until she sees a figure slouching against a tree strumming a guitar, overlooking the lake. She stands up and goes down the stairs quietly. the ground is hard and silent as she steps. She peers around the tree and sees a familiar hairstyle rocking to the beat. Shawn. He can feel her presence and turns his head. She quickly hides behind the other side of the tree. When she looks again he is gone. Only his guitar lyes their, no person attached to it.

"He probably ran. Anyone would run from me."

when she turns to walk back to the cabin, there he is right in front of her standing tall. She screams but he put his cool hand over her mouth.

"Shhhhhh. Bella, it's Shawn. Don't be scared it's me."

She relaxes her muscles.

"oh. My. God. you scared me," she giggles laughing at herself.

"yeah I could tell." He flashes his pearly whites at her and she just smiles back.

"Aren't you cold?"He asks her this with his brows rising.

She realizes her straps are sliding off her shoulders. There was a slight chill but the warmth in the air kept her stable.

"I'm okay."

"So what brings you here to the weirdo with the guitar?" He asks her jokingly.

"ahaha. Well the other girls left so I guess I was just wandering. I don't think it's weird. I think it's cool you play." She replies.

"why would they leave? Well, their loss. Come sit. I need a judge to critique my work anyway."

He leads her to the spot by the tree and plops down. He strums the melody to an amazing song that should be on iTunes in her opinion. She waits for him to begin to sing, but his lips stay sealed.

"Do you sing?" she asks curiously.

"No. Well Yeah. But not in front of anyone."

"Pleeeeeeeeeeeease," she's says dramatically making her eyes wide and pushing out her top lip.

Shawn admires her. She's really pretty.

'Maybe one day. We'll see. He looks back down at his guitar and smirks teasingly. Bella shoves his should er in a playful manor and leans her head against the tree. She makes it trough 3 more choruses hazily before drifting asleep, right there leaning on Shawn. Shawn smiles and swings her guitar over is shoulder and scoops her up as if she were a child. He carried her tenderly into the cabin and placed her strongly onto her top bunk. That had been a good day, but ho knows what tomorrow will bring...
