"Can I stay with you?" Bella asked Shawn.

"Of course."

He still had her in his tight hug, protecting her.

"God Bella I'm so sorry."

"Shhhh Mendes.."

He squeezed her tighter.

"You can put me down Shawn.."

"What if i don't want to bella.. I don't want to let you get hurt."

"We can't stay here forever."

Bella would have liked that tho, to stand there in his arms feeling safe in her best friends grip.

"Come on, the campfire is nearly over and you look exhausted..." Bella didn't answer.. "Bella? Helllllo... bel?"

Her breathing was slowed and her eyes were shut.

"Man, you can sleep girl." He whispered.

How was he going to get her to his cabin without anyone getting suspicious? He got it. He went out the back door and walked behind the row of cabins. He still carried Bella in his arms. She hugged him like a koala with no intention of letting go.

He walked in the back door to his cabin. He pried her off him and layed her on the bed. He pulled off her shoes and tucked her. He walked to the bathroom and changed into sweatpants he walked into the bedroom and made a bed on the floor to be a gentle man.

Bella woke up in a daze briefly.

She saw him take off his shirt revealing his back muscles as he leaned over a mirror.

She spoke sluggishly," Shawn. Sleep in your bed. I don't mind come next to me."

" it's okay I want you to feel comfortable."

"I'll feel more comfortable with u here Shawn. Get comfy here.." she weakly patted the space next to her.

He dimmed the light and climbed in next to her. Her eyes were closing again .. "good night Shawn"

He watched her, his breaths aligning with hers.

"Good night bel.. best friend."

She smiled softly before she was completely consumed by sleep.

She woke up before him and watched him sleeping. She went into the bathroom but forgot to lock it. Why did shawns cabin have a clear glass shower door? Anyway she undressed and then turned the hot water on. Shawn woke and rubbed his eyes.

He went to the bathroom and froze with his eyes wide. She was showering. Her bare backside was facing toward him.

Not the front.

She was so thin.

He can't deny he didn't stare for at least 3 seconds.

He thought she was so beautiful.

"God Bella!! I'm so sorry.." he placed his palms over his eyes and bumped into the wall.

She shrieked.

"SHAWN!! YOU JUST SAW EVERYTHING!!!!!!!"

"Shhh it's okay I didn't see the front."

"OKAY JUST LEAVE"

He found the door and walked out. He breathed heavy.

"Great now it's going to be so awkward," He thought to himself.

The water stopped running and out came Bella with her hair tied in a bun, dressed in a bath robe.

She avoided his eyes when she looked at him.
